Monica Vandevar did a SPECTACULAR job for me! I was injured in a car accident and my car was a total loss. My husband was on his motorcycle at an intersection when he was hit by an automobile. He was treated for multiple injuries at the hospital and released with a list of instructions to seek additional treatment and an order for a wheelchair. It was a Friday night. I had no way of getting him from the car and into the house and I was frightened about the days to come. In the morning we decided to contact Dan Newlin. YOU CAN DO WHAT THEY DO "FOR YOU" ON YOUR OWN! If you have insurance and the person(s) that injured you have insurance (auto and health especially) you just need to make your and the other parties information is given to the right people ON TIME and check on your bills weekly to make sure they get paid by your insurance like they should. I'm in a circumstance where I am still fighting with collections agencies (over a nearly $900 ambulance bill) after the case has ended because my Dan Newlin appointed representation, Karen Wasson, didn't make sure billers had my insurance information and didn't make sure all the bills were paid to the fullest extent by insurance. If I hadn't have caught another bill on time during the case (one that I appealed on my own without help from Karen) I would be owing nearly $3000 out of my own pocket that insurance paid for. If Dan wants his name untarnished, he'd do best to hire people that care about the person they're representing, rather than the check they'll get at the end (which I can almost guarantee will be more than what the client (you) gets). The best piece of advice my lawyer gave me was when she told me her winning card against insurance companies... time. If you've got patience and attention to detail, you can win your own case. DOING THE WORK YOURSELF IS NOT HARD AND YOU'LL GET MORE $$$ *UPDATE: Dan Newlin did try to ease my dissatisfaction with my misrepresentation by his firm through money compensation once his firm read my review. Dan Newlin himself also emailed me an apology for the misrepresentation and made me aware Mrs. Wasson will undergo an audit. I appreciate that his firm would take the time on a Saturday to review my claim and attempt to resolve the issue, so I gave his firm another 2 stars. I have seen multiple other reviews for his other layers, such as Todd Gretton or Ryan Rhyce, in the recent months that I'm sure would be fine to hire. I stand by the review I have left about Karen Wasson until further notice and would not recommend anyone hire her.
