Richard West and his staff were thoroughly professional, diligent, and responsive throughout the entirety of his representation of me in dissolution of marriage. I began my process with a different attorney. After being told something incorrect and then having this attorney deny having ever said it, I turned to Richard West. Richard guided me through what is by all accounts one of the worst experiences one can have in a lifetime. He was honest, forthcoming with all facts, no nonsense, smart and knowledgeable in all aspects of the law, not afraid of hard work when it came to depositions and follow up to the depositions and in general gave me good advice throughout. I always felt like I was in good hands. In the end, I felt like we ended with a win/win situation, one which I believe will allow both parties to move forward with their lives.

When I retained the West Law Group, my divorce had been lingering for 1.5 years with 3 previous attorneys. Shane Herbert quickly got up to speed on the case and my divorce was final with months of hiring them. Shane did an excellent job with my case. He was personable and very responsive. Although I know I wasn't his only client, the attention he showed me made me feel like I was. The settlement he negotiated was extremely better then what the previous attorneys could accomplish. I also met Richard West and had a chance to speak with him. He is also personable and extremely knowledgably. I'm awesomely satisfied with my experience with the West Family Law Group. I hired attorney Shane Herbert towards the end of my divorce to help represent me during my second mediation. Attorney Shane Herbert is an introspective and caring professional who knows family law and is willing to help. The excellence of his efforts, sadly, are diminished by the office, generally. The story line of "what's wrong with my case" is answered by "the opposing counsel is not cooperating". Well, duh. My case ran for almost 7 months. Seven weeks would be closer to reasonable, if opposing counsel were cooperating, of course. Highly endorse Atty Herbert.
