Being in business for decades, and as a Power of Attorney for 3 elderly people has landed me in a number of attorney's offices. I'm not a stranger to the ins and outs of the legal world, especially the 'waiting' and 'paying' part of the legal process, and it's rarely something I look forward to. However, Chiumento Law is the exception. Working with Diane Vidal, a partner at the firm, has been a breath of fresh air. Not only is she exceptionally talented, her sunny disposition and expert advice has not only saved me thousands of dollars because of her foresight, but also protected me from potential risks no other attorney even broached. Diane and her team were absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and didn't push any unnecessary paperwork on us. When we left a message, our call was returned in a timely manner. The quality of work and how her team treats their clients shows they really love what they do.

I hired Diane Vidal to do the Summary Administration of my father's estate. I did all of the legwork to find his assets. They took their time filing the paperwork with the court. I spoke to Ms. Vidal one time when I scheduled an appointment to begin the process. Communication was lacking. Whenever I called I never talked to a person, my call was always sent to voicemail and then I would get an email response. Emails take more time and cost more for the client. I was the one that discovered that the Orders had been signed by the court and had to inform the attorney so that I could begin the process of selling his things and closing the estate. After the administration was closed, I discovered another bank account that my father had, Ms. Vidal wanted to charge me another $350 to reopen the estate to amend the order because the order did not account for all of his accounts. After I had paid the lump sum fee for their services, I was stuck and couldn't hire other counsel.

I was in need of assistance and desperately felt at the mercy of the need for legal advice. Which had been recommended to me by multiple professionals both in the legal and medical field. Amanda at Chimento was absolutely fantastic at showing sympathy and showing empathy for what my situation and circumstances. She listened attentively. She asked appropriate questions and due I my knowledge about legal firms I even asked if she knew if there could pose a conflict of interest with there firm and the place and person involved for my situation, she said she would check with the attorney in her department to verify and and would reach back out to me. But before she got off the phone the first time she made a point of letting me know she understood why I was consulting an attorney and that she felt like I had alot of real possible issues worth being reviewed. She wished me well and her voice was so sincere and inviting and encouraging. I really needed that type of attitude and not the apathy that seems to be in alot of professional offices. Amanda was very considerate. When we spoke again she did have to let me know unfortunately there was o conflict of interest between the attorney and the specific individuals I needed assistance with, which she was compassionate with me but she didn't just brush me off she recommended another attorney and was will to assist in get in touch with them for me and have them reach out to me. Amanda truly was what a professional paralegal personality and attitude should be respected and appreciated. In this world today so many legal professional and other professional lack any type of consideration and/or sympathy much less empathy. They are rude attitudes, short-term attention spans and too much non customer service oriented. But Amanda was really great! I only wish there hadn't been a conflict because if the attorney is even half as respectful as Amanda I would had me one heck of a good attorney. Thank you Amanda and I sure hope Chiumento Law firm know how wonderful she is. Because if you are in the business of bringing in new customers/clients she is top-notch and the red carpet to your front door.
