I wanted to give my most profound appreciation and gratitude to Cabanas law firm and staff. I wanted to give my thanks starting with Roxy Friedland who handle me so well to decide whether or not I should hire Cabanas Law Firm. I was previously turned down from other firms due to the lack of time to prepare the case and other factors that make my case that much complex. I had decided pretty much to go to trial on my own before I heard back from Cabanas law firm. Roxy made me feel welcome, secured, reassured me they can help and made it easy for me to decide with my doubts to have them take my case.I had a tough and difficult case for a Relocation/paternity trial that looked lost before it began. My former lawyer had recently passed away and have such a short timeframe of the upcoming trial, the date was already set and no room for a continuance since has reached and exceeded the limit. I'm so grateful for Gabriela Bennasar who was so supportive at my hardest time throughout my case caring and dedicated to making sure I was doing well on daily bases, Jackie Zenon worked gently with me and supportive me with everything needed. Attorney Laura Grossman was amazing. From the beginning she interviews my case and was very honest about the fact that my case was a long shot but not impossible to have the results I wanted and for them to defend. She was always responsive and answered all of my questions very well, wise, precise, professional, experienced and with a heart of gold. She is and was very compassionate when I needed it the most and outstanding defending my case in all of my disputes with the opposite party. Mr. Cabanas accepted my case with not much detailed information for the trial. When I hired him my time was limited with the set trial date. He manages to handle it so swiftly picking up the pieces from my former lawyer and proceeded to represent me. Attorney Sergio Cabanas is very knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, to the point, and is very in tune with what’s going on. He has been committed to providing the utmost professionalism and respect since the moment I met him. He has voiced my concerns as needed, including advocating for my parenting time during a very difficult time with my trial. I am so grateful for his efforts and representation. Sergio Cabanas and his staff were exceptionally helpful and professional in helping me with my legal problem. First time and a possible client calling the office seeking services and representation. I called the office to get some information and I was given the let me get you in for a free consultation. She said that this is why they do a free consultation to go over the case and that they can explain the cost. After I explain that I just wanted to get an idea of a range of what the service may cost. In addition, I told her that I was also in need of doing a will and that my sister would need one too. I was placed on hold and then gave me an idea of what the service will start at, which I told her, I would then go ahead and schedule the appointment, I just needed an idea, since this was all new to me. She then said that they would charge me $100 for the consult after she said it would be a free consultation. Completely changed it to " you pay $100 and then if you hire the attorney it would be applied. So unprofessional! If this is how they treat a possible new client, I definitely don't want their services.
