*Waste of time and money!* I met with Brian and his wife, the middle of 2018, to prepare estate planning documents for me. After I received the initial documents, I called back with questions. I was told Brian's time was very valuable, he was reluctant to call me back, but he would. I was assured that my documents could very easily be modified if need be in the future. To sign the final documents, I took time off work, drove to Punta Gorda, and had to wait for 30-45; apparently, my time is not valuable! Recently I reached out to them to make a few name changes (a simple word document ‘find and replace’). I was originally told that I would have to drive 3 hours to Punta Gorda (I recently moved to Fort Lauderdale) to sign the new documents and they didn't know how much it would cost because it was a “major” change (again... a simple word document ‘find and replace’). Then Brian left me a lengthy message telling me to Google estate planning and have my paperwork completely redone. They couldn’t help me make the simple word document ‘find and replace’ changes and especially since I had moved to Fort Lauderdale. Apparently, in the day and age of everything being done online, emailed, notarized, scanned, etc.; they will not and cannot accommodate. Now, I have unusable estate planning documents and I have to have everything completely redone. An absolute waste of time and money! I was assured they could make changes for me in the future. Had I known I had to stay within a 15-mile radius of Punt Gorda and/or simple changes would be considered too much; I NEVER would have gone to them.

I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome Bryan Tippin is. I paid for a consultation with him and he spent the full hour helping untangle my issue. We built a house in Punta Gorda and retired here in 2019, moving down from New England. I had heard Florida had unique estate planning laws, and needed a law firm to look over our 25 year old wills to make sure everything was in order. I relied on the large number of great reviews I read online to select the Tippen Law Firm, and was delighted with the result. Due to the pandemic, we did most of the work via email and online, actually only meeting face to face for the final document signing. Bryan Tippen was exceptionally knowledgeable about Florida law, offering great recommendations about not only our wills and trusts, but about our living wills and other estate planning concerns. Stefanie did a great job managing the exchange of information and documents and dealing with her was always a pleasure.
