tl;dr -- exceptional person, exceptional service. Highly recommend. To the reader of this review, First off, this is/was a new experience for me – I haven’t needed to seek legal guidance really at all in the past. That said, prior to meeting with Steve I had numerous *exceptionally bad* interactions other firms. I consulted with no less than *four* separate law firms in the North Florida area (some rather well known ones as a matter of fact) seeking advice on what was a relatively simple matter, but had some interstate nuances. These firms were either dismissive, disrespectful, or generally not helpful. In one instance, I scheduled and coordinated a conference call consultation with a firm weeks in advance only for them to hang up three minutes into what was supposed to be a 50 minute session. By the time I reached out to Steve’s firm, my opinion of the legal profession couldn’t have been lower. Though I doubt there are many like him, Steve restored my opinion of attorneys. He is a genuinely good human being. Speaking with him has been easy and natural, and conversations flow as if he is a friend and confidante – completely contrary to the superficial interactions I had with the other firms. On multiple occasions he was kind enough to consult by phone and email, going so far as to review my documents while he had the flu (!!!). During our calls, he has always actively listened and asked pointed clarifying questions as needed to provide the best guidance possible. With his advice, I am now close to a resolution to the original issue that I presented to him. Moving forward, he will be my go to source for any and all estate planning or related issues. We came to The Zackrocki Law firm following a recommendation of a family member, who had engaged them on a different matter. We needed to get a family Trust established, to ensure the stability of our estate in the future; but we had another issue which generated considerable concern. We have a disabled son, whose continued existence beyond our presence on Earth, would be irreversibly and unacceptably altered by government agencies. Steve crafted a strong and secure Trust that ensures his protection, and that of our estate. We had no knowledge beforehand of his expertise regarding guardianships, and their particular requirements - to say the least, we were (and are!) ecstatic to find that his understanding of the issue very profound and comprehensive. We now are fully confident that our future, our childrens’ futures, and our concerns have been fully secured. He is a wonderful man, and attorney. HIGHLY recommended.
