I was an Indiana lawyer for 2 weeks shy of 40 years, the last 37 years in South Bend (Steve’s hometown [although I did not know him or his family]). I had a typical small town practice with an emphasis on probate, estate planning, and elder law. Joanne (my Wife) was an RN at a local hospital. When Joanne and I retired and moved to Palm Coast, I knew that we had to find an attorney to “Floridafy” our estate plan, and it was very important to me that Joanne be comfortable working with the attorney. Unfortunately for us, we worked with 2 other law firms before we found Steve. In my opinion, Steve is very responsive, knowledgeable, and personable; and Joanne is very comfortable with Steve and Amanda. We referred friends (he is a retired 50+ year New Jersey attorney and she is a former small-business owner) to Steve, and they were very pleased with Steve’s work and their interaction with Steve and Amanda. Attorney Steven Zakrocki was very knowledgeable and was patient with me while I asked questions regarding how to handle the disposition of the items in my estate, and how to do it in a way that will create the least amount of stress for my beneficiaries. I really liked the fact that he will "be around" in the area for quite a few years, thus limiting the need to start the search all over again.

My great great grandmother was a slave. When they freed the slaves, they gave them blocks of land to own. That land was passed down from my great-great-grandmother to my grandmother. But after my grandmother passed away in 2018, I reached out to attorney Brittany in 2019 about the property in St Augustine. Brittany gave me some awesome advice to avoid creditors coming after me. COVID hit in 2020 and courts shut down. When 2022 hit I couldn't find Brittany anymore. I was frustrated. Brittany had left the practice she originally was working and started her own practice. I found her new info and I called Brittany again this year in 2023 about that same property. Brittany handled my probate case with urgency and proffesionalisn. I am now a proud property owner with so much deep-rooted history. Make sure you choose Brittany for your probate case. I'm a happy client and I want to say thank you Brittany!
