I hired Mr. Marble for a contentious divorce, and I’m glad I did. And when I say contentious, I mean contentious. I had every type of hearing and issue come up, from child support to child custody to relocation of minor children, not to mention alimony. Mr. Marble was not my first choice. My first choice was a law firm that said they could do the job for the littlest amount of money. Bad mistake. Shopping for price with your financial future at stake is the ultimate recipe for disaster. But the clincher was that not only was Mr. Marble an expert, he was reasonably priced. He is no more expensive than other lawyer, and really, when all is said and done, less expensive than most. I am by no means rich, and I am really the classic definition of the working poor. But, I knew I needed to protect myself. So I scrimped and saved and scrimped some more and got myself out of my situation with my other lawyer. The best decision I made was hiring Mr. Marble. Here is what I like about dealing with Mr. Marble: 1. He is an expert lawyer. He knows the law and the issues. There is nothing else to be said. 2. He answers his own phone. I know this may sound petty, but when I call someone up, I want to talk to them. And I would think most people would also. I had an issue with my previous lawyer answering my messages. Mr. Marble answers the phone. And when I have to leave a message, he called me back within an hour. 3. He was proactive. He told me what we had to do, when we had to do it, and did it. It’s nice to know what the process is and what needs to be done. I hated being left in the dark. 4. He was reasonably priced. Now I didn’t say he was cheap. But the money you spend at a legal mill, spent in support of Mr. Marble will get you further down the road in a better place that you could imagine. 5. He is great in court. Now I know this may sound funny, but my previous lawyer spoke like he was Perry Mason and Matlock all rolled into one. He was not. Mr. Marble IS GREAT IN COURT. HE KNOWS WHAT TO DO AND WALKED CIRCLES AROUND THE OTHER LAWYER. Yes, I know those are all capital letters. But this is important. If your lawyer cannot covey what is important to the judge, it will not be considered. If it’s not considered, you lose on that issue. Do you really want to lose on your issue of child support or child custody or alimony? I couldn’t afford to lose on any of those issues. Don’t lose by not having a lawyer that can’t lawyer his way out of a paper bag in court. Mr. Marble is a FANTASTIC COURT ROOM ATTORNEY. 6. He keeps you informed. You will know what is going on. Ignorance of what is going on is the worst thing that can happen. If Mr. Marble wishes to give my name out as a reference, I am more than happy to answer any questions. He was great.
