I highly recommend Joe and the Gufford Law Firm. What we initially thought would be a somewhat cordial divorce turned into anything but. Opposing counsel waited until mediation and attempted to get much more than what was agreed to outside of mediation. Had Joe not prepared for that possibility things could have gone very badly. In the end, we got exactly what we originally offered and opposing counsel got none of the absurd demands they attempted to get. At the end of the day, Joe used his experience and took the time to prepare, and we got exactly what we wanted. If I had an attorney like opposing counsel, or some of the other lawyers I have heard horror stories about, it would have been a different story.

I highly recommend Mr. Gufford if you need any help when it comes to Family Law. I retained Mr. Gufford once in 2018 and then again last year - both times when my ex tried taking my child(ten) away from me. I wouldn’t want anyone else to represent me if this was to arise again. Between Mr. Gufford and Cheryl (who is awesome & compassionate) I felt I was heard, represented and taken care of. They are are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend and also very thankful.

I contacted Mr Gufford about a medical provider issue. He spent a good bit of time listening and getting all of the information needed. He then gave me suggestions to help us out. To date we have not proceeded with the next steps in this matter, but he was kind and knowledgeable and did not even charge for his time.
