This is a five star review that is truly deserved. Mr. Liebenhaut and his team are outstanding and clearly some of the best in the field, based on my experience. I came to Matt Liebenhaut regarding a child support / child custody matter in January of 2017, after being summoned with a lawsuit against me. I had 20 days to respond, so I was in a bit of a time crunch. I currently live out of state, and was only able to rely on Mr. Liebenhaut’s reviews and his website for my final decision on selecting an attorney. I called Mr. Liebenhaut’s office and they scheduled me for a consultation, with him, within just a few short days. After speaking with him about my case, I felt very confident in Mr. Liebenhaut representing me. I truly felt like I was in safe hands. Matt was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Having not spent much time with attorneys it was great to find someone who was the complete opposite of the image I had in my head, of an up-tight, expensive attorney who I had no idea if I could trust or not. On the contrary, Matt was friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I felt confident that I could trust him and his team for their guidance 100%. I paid my retainer fee the very next day. When informing me of the retainer fee, Matt explained what exactly the fee covered. He also discussed potential situations that could happen. There were never any hidden fees or additional costs. He kept my financial exposure to a minimum. Throughout the course of our agreement, I had help completing all the paperwork that was needed and any questions I had, were answered very quickly and thoroughly from Matt and/or his team. I actually was pleasantly surprised at how much correspondence I had with him directly. I had imagined I would be communicating with him thru a paralegal, clerk, or an assistant of some kind. I was kept up to date on the status of my case the entire time. The whole process, from start to finish, was smooth and professional with Matt Liebenhaut and his team. I never felt like I was on the back burner. I always felt informed and as a priority. My hearing was scheduled less than 2 months after first meeting with Mr. Liebenhaut (I thought that was very quick!). I had a few questions regarding the hearing, so Matt scheduled me for a pre-hearing meeting to advise me of what exactly would take place. I appreciate the extra time and effort he made to reassure me. During the hearing, the other parties attorney was very aggressive, loud, some-what intimidating, and rude. However; every time Matt Liebenhaut spoke, he was calm, collected, and stated nothing but facts. I believe Matt Liebenhaut was passionate about my case and he did not have to be too aggressive to prove that. Aggressiveness is not necessarily a bad thing. But aggressiveness without intelligence and temperament is not only unwise but unnecessarily expensive. Matt Liebenhaut is friendly, to the point, reassuring, and cares about your well-being and the outcome of your case. Matt Liebenhaut is also not intimidated by any “aggressive” opponent due to Matt’s experience and knowledge. Needless to say, He won our case. I cannot thank Matt Liebenhaut and his team enough. I highly recommend and will ask for his help again, if ever needed!

Mr. Liebenhaut is an exceptional lawyer. He handled my difficult legal matter with professionalism and diligence. If I had questions, Mr. Liebenhaut and his staff were very responsive to emails and phone calls. In the courtroom he is a fierce advocate, but remains calm and organized. Mr. Liebenhaut and his staff were very welcoming and kind. He did all he could to make everything go as smoothly and quick as possible. He was very realistic and could answer all the questions I had for him. I was very pleased with him and have used him on 2 different occasions.

Mr. Leibenhaught and his firm were very professional and kind. They were very informative right from the start and helped me to understand all my options. Divorces are very stressful and scary, but they helped relieve a lot of the unnecessary stress. I had these attorneys for over 6 months, then they called me 3 weeks before my court date for my FINAL HEARING to cancel their services because my date was scheduled a little further away than they wanted to drive. Yes, the staff does return your phone calls, but nobody in the office ever seems to have a clue what's actually going on with your case. If you ask them a question you will hear them stutter and say they have to call you back in 2 days with an answer. Seems like everybody you speak to in their office works in a call center and not the actual office.

The office has rude staff members. Whomever is assigned to answering the phone is rude and disrespectful. Simple questions on the services needed where not answered in a professional way.

Absolutely stupendous. Incredibly hard working. Dedicated. Smart. Matt is easy to talk to, quick on the uptake and even has a sense of humor. His support staff are spot on. I don't know when he sleeps. After 30 years in business, and dozens of law firms retained, across a number of platforms, he is one of the very best. I can honestly say that Matt Liebenhaut and his team have killed themselves for my wife and I. We fought a very high conflict custody battle, waged from 1/2 way across the country, and we never felt far from the fight. We are more than a year into it, and we're still not done... but Matt & his team have certainly earned our business and our loyalty. They just don't make 'em like this any more.
