I recently had the pleasure of working with Diana Cohn and her law firm for my divorce case, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Diana was super helpful when my wife and I needed to file a family name change petition. She took all the stress out of this process, had excellent communication with us, and managed to help us complete the process in a short amount of time.

I was referred to Sketchley by another attorney who I trust, who provided a strong endorsement for Twyla. Al Bowden represented my family member in a dispute with an assisted living facility. He successfully negotiated a settlement that we felt was fair, and Sketchley's fees were in line with the initial guidance they provided. Good work!

On her Facebook Page, Sketchley states "I have devoted my career to serving the elderly and safeguarding vulnerable adults in Tallahassee, Florida." In reality it looks something like this: My uncle was forced into an unwanted Guardianship that neither he nor his family wanted. He, while diagnosed with dementia, was placed in the Guardianship while others with the help of Sketchley proceeded to drain this elderly man's assets and prohibited his family from seeing him in the last three years of his life. And if that wasn't cruel enough, the family was not notified of his death until 2 months after he passed and was buried. In the end, his family was left with no family experiences in the last three years of his life, but only unnecessary legal bills. I am really sure this does not match with her opening Facebook proclamation and is not the type of law firm I would want to handle any of my legal affairs. And yes Twyla, in response to your comments to my review, my review represented an extremely fair and accurate picture of what transpired at your hands to my elderly Uncle and his loving family! Just the way it transpired.

Never ever use this firm ! They are just like her name Sketchey. Be very aware she puts clients in guardianship and then you cannot even see your love ones.You will be very sorry! Don’t know how she sleeps at night!!!!!!

The Sketchley Law Firm assisted my brother-in-law for the care of his wife. It was taking some time because my brother in law was not providing the information needed to bring a resolution. Once i assisted with the needed information, the law firm quickly got him a positive outcome. The firm also helped him estate planning. The key to the quick resolution was to have the required information needed by the Sketchley firm, which I was able to assist with. I discussed the use of the Sketchy Law Firm with my Orlando attorney and they had high praise for the firm.

The Sketchley Law Firm says they are compassionate however keeping a man with dementia away from his family is not compassionate. Quality representation does not put a man with dementia under Guardianship and sell his possessions against the wishes of family. Dementia is a disease and those with it need help, however this is not the firm to help the vulnerable.

As a fellow attorney, I call Twyla when I have a question about guardianship, elder law, or probate. She is always helpful and knowledgeable. I feel confident calling on Twyla because I have known her for well over a decade, and she has been board-certified by The Florida Bar in elder law since 2007. Board certification requires not only expertise in a particular legal practice area but also high standards of ethics and professionalism, as confirmed by peer and judicial review.

I worked with Diana to establish a pre-marital agreement (prenup). I'm glad to have hired her, as she's thorough and she takes time to explain legal topics in layperson terms. The experience left me feeling like I was working with a partner towards a common goal. Exactly what you want in an attorney. I'll definitely work with her again in the future for related matters!

Fake Reviews from her staff! Haha Fraud. "Marisa Stydam" actually "Marisa Stidam", an employee at Sketchley Law firm. Is it possible she does not know her own employees or that this is a case of dementia? Let's hope Twyla's next dress is orange! RUN BAMBI RUN!

I'm editing my review to add that yes, I am an employee of the Sketchley Law Firm however, Attorney Sketchley has not only represented me, she has represented members of my family. I have also been fortunate to have been a first hand witness of Ms. Sketchley's knowledge, passion, and drive to her clients and ensure they are made as whole as possible over these last six years. I have never met a more ethical person.
