I submitted a case to this firm and the attorney Luis Cabassa accepted. I had forgotten that during my employment against the place that I wanted to sue, I actually told an investigator that I planned to file a law suit, thus the employer was ahead and offered me a lump sum to not file a law suit. At first I wanted more so I declined and wanted to pursue the case using this law firm but then the employer offered a higher number and I accepted. I informed attorney Cabassa and said I’d still pay for the consultation they did, and he said no need to. Extremely honest and fair, as we all know that most lawyers are money hungry and just out to scam. I will certainly keep his number handy, considering I am part of the most discriminated against and undervalued in every single workplace. I must keep an attorney on my side.

I spent $500 to help me with an unemployment appeal. He basically did nothing. I had to do 90% of the talking myself, and the phone lines at the office had a bad connection that made the whole experience worse. We lost the case so not only was I now unemployed with no unemployment benefits, I was out $500 for the lawyer fees. Total waste of money. Edit: They're trying to imply I never had a case with them, which is untrue. It was from 2016 and I still have the emails as proof. Interesting how they never reached out to make it right, but instead tried to imply I was lying. Always keep the receipts. 😉
