We couldn't be grateful enough to the Seward law office.They were able to help us in our time of great need and frustration.Alicia helped us to procure information in a timely manner from difficult tenants and has been very knowledgeable in her field. Attorney Alicia Regina Seward is one of the worst. I hired her on 5/31/17 for an eviction case, a tentant who was beyond on rent payments. That same day she got the full payment her attorney fee of $750.00 plus the filing fee which was around $300.00. I called her office back several times, three hour later to notify her the tenant called me and we resolved the issue,but no respond. When she finally got back to me after via email and alot of calls. She refunded me the filing fee then told me in 15 to 30 days, she has to review what her assistance work on, before she can refund me the attorney fee. She also mentioned to me in her hiring docket there's a no refund stated in the docket, which was not in bold letters and before her assistance sent the docket. I Regina Seward was there any thing in the docket I should be aware of, she said no. On 7/7/17 she mailed me statement, breaking down the cost. Which add up for attorney fees $375.00 for thrée hours, mind you! On the day I hired her, she got the full payments attorney fee and filing fee, three hour later I called to tell her everything was resolved and her service wasn't required anymore. Now two months have pass and I still haven't received half of the attorney fee, which was stated due to me on the statement she mail to me.

Alicia was quick to meet me for 30 minutes free consultation and gave me several good pointers so I decided to hire her. She appeared to the court hearing and won the case for us ( it was an no-brainer win anyway). When Judge asked her whether he should write the final judgment or she will. She eagerly answered she will. But she didn't submit it until 2 weeks later. All my calls to her assistant went to deaf ear. Never received any answer. We had to take the case in our own hands. So we went to the sheriff's office requesting eviction enforcement. They asked for writ of possession, which we didn't have. We started calling around the court clerk. Nobody can give a straight answer where it is. One clerk says it's in Plant City court where we had the hearing, another said it was in Brandon court where we initially filed. The lawyer finally called ( because sheriff office called her asking why it was us, not her calling sheriff's office). She claimed that she had the originally stamped writ of possession and just mailed out to our home that morning (we still haven't received it after 3 weeks. Obviously she was lying. She never mailed anything to our home). After numerous calls and extreme frustration, sheriff's office finally told us that they got it and will proceed. From the hearing on May 3 until now, we only received one call from her which was a lie and couple of emails with electronic version of writ of possession which was useless. We still haven't received the monetary judgment against our deadbeat tenants. We will have to search in the dark to find that out. Hope it's there somewhere. If it doesn't exist, what should we do. I feel this is an extremely negligent, dishonest and irresponsible attorney. We plan to file complaint in Florida Bar Association. and put her attorney fee in our credit card dispute because not only we didn't receive the service, we were damaged by her terrible service.

I contacted Alicia to help with an issue we had with a property we owned. I provided her with the info and she jumped right in. She reviewed all the paperwork, contacted the other attorney and had them back down with their illegal threats. We were very pleased with her response and her reasonable rates. I also recommended Alicia to a close friend who was having issues with her HOA. I was informed that she did an amazing job for her as well.

I consulted with this attorney online. She gave a quick helpful response. She was educated on the Florida law. The response was clear and direct. She also suggested some options to resolve the situation.
