In my Divorce case, I chose, John based on reviews and a personal friends recommendation that I have known for more than , 20 years. At first I was apprehensive because of a prior experience with a lawyer on my case. After meeting him, I was more comfortable as he answered my questions directly was always available to speak with me by either, phone, email or text and as early as 5:00 a.m. Unusually for most attorneys, I would have communications waiting for me as he never seemingly sleeps. He is , professional, no nonsense, direct and works hard but can be a head butt for you if you have a personality like my own which is very strong. His is as well! He does not mislead you and sometimes blunt but follows the direct and best course for the best outcomes within the law. Never playing games or skirting issues.. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs solid legal advice. C. Burse

I was referred to John from a local real estate attorney regarding the defense and a counter suit for a former problem tenant. Tenant happened to be a former judge and attorney. A few lawyers I spoke to had a conflict of interest, or, didn't want to pursue the case for one reason or another. John not only took the case but was fair, always available, honest and direct. This guy is very shady. He will be all about working with you and your case and then once you pay him, he will kick you to the curb. This so called attorney did a horrible job on a Law Suit. Don't work with this John DeGirolamo. So many other professional Attorney's in the Tampa Area.

Read your contract. Keep tabs on them by demanding invoices constantly. Questionable billing. Also do all communications to the office via email. Had more times than not “email got stuck in server and never got” and “are you sure you called right number, maybe phone issues”. Confirm meetings as likely someone doesn’t know, running late or will miss and ruin whatever you had to do to make meeting. Possibly due to criminal cases they feel they can treat people like animals versus consumers. But if you chose them, don’t say we didn’t warn you. Amateur hour prelaw and it’s your freedom at stake.

My ex-husband filed a pretty significant lawsuit against me with serious allegations. I went to John based on his reviews. I was scared and knew I needed a tough lawyer to fight my ex and his crazy lawyer. John met with me and calmed my fears and I knew I had nothing to worry about after meeting John.
