I'm very please to have hired Caveda Law firm for my divorce. Also his staff did a great job. I got the results and that was important.

Picking the right attorney is the most important thing you can do when fighting for the right to be a parent to your children. I’ve had several and saying It’s a hard process to find a good one would be downplaying the issue. Stating David Caveda is an excellent attorney Does Not do justice to the job he has done not only for me but more importantly my children. He is truly compassionate and has put in the time to fight my extremely difficult case with a lot of odds against me. Prior to having David as my counsel, I spent 7 months with another attorney just trying to get supervised visitation 2 times a week. Everyday was a losing battle, costing thousands of dollars and yielding little in the way of progress. This frustrated me to no avail as the only thing I was paying that attorney for was to have a part in my children’s life, to be a father again whatever the cost, not for a personal property or money. My ex had attempted to alienate me from my children lots of ways which I had plenty in the way of evidence to show the judge but couldn’t get him to do. I’m a patient man but I had hit my limit. I reached out to David having read that he was a father and he had served his country. While this may not seem all that important, for me it is. A father who serves his country knows first hand the pain of being away from those you love. I didn’t serve but that pain is one I Now know all to well and wish upon no one. He’s not only knows it but seen it in his fellow countrymen for their children, which are the very reason many serve. He knows your children’s importance in your life. It’s because of this first hand knowledge, David’s hard work and determination along with his extensive legal experience that I Now have my children back in my life. There have been many trying times in the last year but David’s has been there all the way... and continued to be. He’s calm, patient and measured being careful that every move he makes for you serves you and your children the best it can every time. This patience is what gets you through this in the end. Everybody who needs help in these situations is dealing with emergencies of their own life and that’s the hardest part to deal with any attorney. Getting that sense of urgency addressed can be hard and Knowing that your not only one your attorney is helping makes it all the more harder. I’d love to say David immediately answers every call and email... he doesn’t and I’ve yet to meet an attorney who does. But He does get back promptly and when you need him urgently he is there he doesn’t let anything you need go unaddressed. I don’t have lots of money but I’ve always known you get what you pay for in life. This is Extremely true with attorneys. While he isn’t the cheapest, David is by far the fairest I’ve dealt with. He works with you every step of the way, communicates what to expect very well and always is transparent and fair in the work that he bills. Paying for this process is difficult and nearly impossible for some but When you and your children’s future are what’s at stake you have to find a way and I can’t recommend a better man than David Caveda to get you there. I hope this helps at least one more person make the right choice in the fight for their family. Best of luck, Bobby

I would recommend that you do not use this attorney. I paid $2,900. I saw this person 2 maybe 3 times. I could never get an email back in a timely manner. I never really knew what was going on. Finally went to mediation and he had to leave before my mediation was even done. Mind you I hired him specifically to go to mediation with me. I followed up with him after mediation to finalize the agreement my child’s mother and I came to, again I got no response. The next day I get an invoice for another $1,100 and still don’t know what the final status is of the filing of my mediation or the final agreement the mother and I came to. Obviously going to mediation and dealing with having to share time with your kid is bad enough, but dealing with this group was a bad choice. I usually never write people reviews, even when they are bad. I usually take a f-it kind of attitude, but this guy literally has me fuming over the experience. Find another attorney and pay a little extra (cause you will anyways, just with no benefit) to make sure you get everything handled the way you want.

My ex-wife unilaterally decided she would change our parenting agreement and would not return our daughter to me for my scheduled time sharing. She did this last minute as i was waiting at the airport for our flight home to Japan. Mr. Caveda was fantastic in helping me get my daughter back. He was able to work with my schedule (being that I had to do this from Japan). He told me what to expect and what he thought would most likely happen throughout the process and was spot on at every step. He made nightmare situation where i may mever see my daughter again to a victory where she was returned to me as our parenting plan states she is supposed to be. Thank you Mr. Caveda, for all your help and your expertise in getting my daughter returned to me. I would encourage anyone in need of exceptional legal counsel or representation to check out Mr. Caveda. He is exceptional!

Very personable and went above and beyond. Took time out of his own schedule to explain in detail the processes and laws that pertained to our situation. Friendly, military focused, and identified our individual needs. Knowledgeable regarding other states and plans that cross state lines.

David is nothing less than a competent professional. He was extremely patient with me and carefully answered all of my questions, no matter how rudimentary. He was fully present during every meeting and despite our tight deadlines, I never felt rushed. You can rest easy knowing that David will put in the hours to ensure that you’re taken care of. While I hope that I never have to use David’s services again, I won’t look anywhere else.
