Anyone going through or contemplating a divorce knows how stressful it can be. Thankfully, I found Shannon LaFrance. My first contact with Shannon was exactly what I needed; she gave me excellent advice, answered all of my questions and helped me navigate a flood of emotions with patience and compassion. She guided me through the entire process and explained complex legal matters in a way I could easily understand. I never had to talk through legal assistants or office staff – she personally and promptly answered all my calls and emails. Moreover, her honesty and integrity are present in every conversation. She never tried to create a bunch of “billable hours” to complete the effort and everything she did was in my best interest. I highly recommend Shannon LaFrance to anyone who wants to hire the best attorney in Florida. She is wonderful to work with and truly cares about her clients.

Melissa helped us through the adoption process. Each adoption is unique I'm sure, and ours had quite a few challenges. It involved the foster care system, her private adoption agency, lawyers for 3 different bio families, and guardian ad litem attorneys. Several different opposing adoption goals were represented. Thankfully for us and for our adopted son Melissa guided the process toward the outcome we believe was best: our adoption. We relied on her judgement about these problems and we are happy that we did. Even on the day of the adoption hearing an issue presented itself. She supported our interests, and the adoption was finalized that day. ... There were several times during the process that seemed very uncertain. As soon as I had my auto accident, i was scared as to who I would choose to represent me. You hear many lawyers and paralegals on the radio, TV, etc... however you are not sure if they will have your best interest at heart. I have got to say that I could not have chosen a better Firm. Since my accident occurred, they have been hands on, on my case every step of the way. I am also not that knowledgeable when it comes to law terms, but Frank Fernandez himself and staff helped me throughout the whole process until its completion. Communication was always key, and nothing was done that I was not aware off. They made me feel in control of the situation eventhough accidents can be unpredictable. Our adoption was completed almost 6 years ago! I am so thankful we had Melissa! I think of her occasionally and realize hour different our lives would have been had she not intervened. With her help I was able to adopt my relatives that would have otherwise been adopted by foster parents through the court dependency system. We were having the worst experience trying to handle things on our own but from the first day she showed up in court our entire case turned around. I would recommend her to everyone!
