Excellent Elder Care Attorneys- Feel confident I am in very good hands!! Brooke Colbert has been wonderful updating our POA- Health Care proxy, etc as our circumstances have changed!

Had a consultation with Cristie Sennett. She was 10 minutes late for the appointment and ended our appointment 25 minutes early, saying "you can talk about this on your own time". She offered very little legal perspective, but freely shared her personal opinion on our family affairs (unrelated to our pursuit) and made the current conflicts even worse. She offered personal stories of her family member who has Multiple Sclerosis and qualified to have shower bars put up in their home. Again, unrelated to our pursuits. I would not recommend this lawyer.

"Brooke Colbert Case Worker" Mark Shalloway Attorney have Intentionally Ignored 15 Requests Mandated by The Florida Bar to deliver The Attorney Workfile Fees and Documented Services as it pertains to a family Trust Matter from 2022. To the Trustee. 2 Certified letters seny and 15 emails sent requesting The Attorney Fee Statements Documenting The Workfile have Not Been Received as mandated by the Florida as of this Date December 13, 2024. Brooke Colbert is frequently out of the office and overlooks details and rude: gets impatient updating important Estate Matter Documents. Mark Shalloway ignores client complaints. Both are required to submit The Estate Attorney Fees and Client Workfile to the Trustees: NEITHER HAVE COMPLIED WITH THE FLORIDA BAR MANDATED DOCUMENTS REQUESTED VIA DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AS REQUESTED.

What can I say, can you give more than five stars???? Mr. Shalloway has been such a blessing. He explains the most important minute details and takes any and all of the guesswork out of an extremely, complex process. Speaking with him you can tell he really cares about his clients, and helps bring you in the process to provide multiple solutions and help you decide the best route. Extremely grateful and thankful for his time and expertise.

Shalloway & Shalloway P.A have been an efficient and extremely reliable law firm. Each member of the team/company has been working around the clock to provide the necessary information and services needed for our case. In regards to documentation and email communication they are beyond on point with everything , I have no complaints whatsoever with them. I am extremely pleased with the way they handle everything.

Brooke Colbert....our family needed a guardianship established last year for our special needs son. Brooke made the legal process smooth, seamless and quick and, in our opinion, she is extremely efficient and professional. Now we are using her services again for a Trust account for our son. She is highly trained, is able to answer all our questions on the spot and is proficient. We are so pleased and would give her 10 stars if we could. Shallowway and Shalloway office staff is always prompt with answering calls and taking messages. Brooke is very prompt with calling back and emailing as well which is a plus to us. It is not everyday that you find an attorney that is as attentive and professional as Brooke and the firm. I want to give a special thank you to Shalloway & Shalloway, P.A. and an extra special thank you to our attorney, Brooke Colbert, for the exceptional service my family received during times of need. My family needed an elder care attorney to help with my parents dire situation. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and at this time of hiring an elder care attorney, my mother was in mid to late stage Alzheimer's and my father was in his 80's acting as the sole provider, however, it was taking a toll on him and he needed help. Our family needed to put preventative measures in place and we needed a plan to go to as my mother's disease progressed. Thank goodness we had Shalloway & Shalloway, P.A. The firm and our attorney Brooke Colbert helped us tremendously. Brooke heard our entire story in late 2020 and provided the options available to us. Together we chose a plan to get my mother the care she needed, as well as ensure my father's livelihood remains intact the best it can. The firm and Brooke was there every step of the way, from doing my parents last will and testament, getting my father power of attorney of my mother as she was unable to make her own decisions, to helping my mother apply and being approved for Medicaid. There are so many documents, legal forms, and laws surrounding elder care services that we needed to select a competent firm, and I can say our family did just that. This was a difficult time, especially as my mother had Alzheimer's disease. I had a lot of "what if" scenarios, a lot of questions surrounding these "what if" scenarios, and a lot of questions in general. All these were met. My mother has since passed, but I am grateful for this law firm and especially Brooke Colbert during this time. Whenever my family reached out, Brooke was there to help guide us along the way.
