I would normally be embarrassed to post the fact that I got a ticket in Port Saint Lucie, but it doesn't happen often, and when it's as easy as calling the Ticket Clinic and asking for their help ... and a few months later I get a letter that says "We are pleased to inform you that all charges for the above referenced case against you have been dismissed! No points and no conviction will appear on your record." Well, just speed away ... seriously though, it's never convenient to get a speeding ticket, but if you do then call the Ticket Clinic. You won't have to deal with it, they do it all for you. And if you're not a repeat, repeat, repeat offender then you'll likely get the ticket dismissed or at least without points.
