My practice in Indianapolis is limited to criminal defense. I've been at this for 20 years with dozens of DWI jury trials under my belt. Because of that experience, I felt like I knew NHTSA's "DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST)" manual like the back of my hand. Let me tell you - I did not! There is NOTHING CLOSE to preparing yourself to CX officers in court on SFSTs than being trained to properly administer them yourself.
