Called Monday and whoever I spoke to was so kind. Mentioned they did free consultations and would get a call back that day or next day. Never received a call and called just now. The lady I spoke to just didn’t seem to care. Said free consultations are for people wanting an attorney. Not for advice. Tried to set up an appointment which I still don’t understand why that wasn’t able to happen Monday? Nothing worked and it’s all disappointing. People nowadays don’t want to genuinely help anyone.

Jeff was an outstanding attorney for me during my time as his client. He was always prepared and on time to all my court dates. Jeff reviewed and prepped me at all times when needed as well. I received my 2nd DUI in five years in Jan. of last year. I had fallen asleep on the way to work behind the wheel after a rough night and totaled my car. Failed my field sobriety test miserably and still had a hint of BAC with the breathalyzer. In retrospect, I SHOULD not have been behind the wheel and learned my lesson the hard way. I am a college student and had very little money. I did my research with surrounding lawyers and also went to multiple consultations with others. After meeting with Jeff, I had felt the best I had since the night before my arrest. We discussed my financial troubles as a student and worked out a very generous plan for me. We met on multiple occasions and studied every different aspect of how to handle my case. The defenses we had in trial, the possibilities of a plea, and my chances of the whole thing getting dropped. After multiple meetings, we settled on a plea deal. It was such a good deal that the interim prosecutor on the day of my sentencing was astonished (and livid) that the original prosecutor had agreed upon a deal so sweet and said that normally in cases like mine the punishment was triple of what I was to receive. I'm still in contact with Mr. Rothman regularly about my case and he is still just as helpful as he was a year ago. I can't thank him enough. Go to him if you're in a tight spot. He is the BEST in Athens, GA.
