From the moment I was referred to Buckley Bala Wilson Mew and had my intake interview, I was hopeful for the first time that my case against my workplace would be taken seriously. The end result: we successfully litigated my case. While a successful outcome was important, the overall experience working with Buckley Bala Wilson Mew was exemplary; this firm was amazingly supportive and collaborative, worked closely with me across each and every step, and most importantly, Mr. Buckley and several firm lawyers facilitated mediation which demonstrated clear solidarity with me in achieving success. The intake process (assessing the case to see if there was indeed a case) was seamless. Once I had been offered an interview, I met with Mr. Buckley who listened closely to my concerns, asked direct and poignant questions regarding the steps I had taken prior to seeking legal counsel, listened to how my concerns had taken a toll on my personal life, and outlined the steps the firm would take in initiating litigation. Mr. Buckley presented all possible outcome scenarios, challenges that this case presented, and always reassured me that we would work towards the best solution. Mr. Buckley was so affirming regarding my inequitable work situation and is one of the most gracious and wicked smart people I have met. During this interview, Mr. Buckley assured me that working cases involved a team approach in which firm lawyers work together with clients, and together WE would work to achieve a successful outcome. From the start, the firm’s incredibly bright lawyers treated me with respect, addressed my concerns with expertise, and skillfully guided me through all paperwork. We successfully countered every point my workplace brought forward. Buckley Bala Wilson Mew also has strong relationships with the state which enabled them to work effectively and efficiently with their counsel to achieve successful mediation. As for Mr. Buckley, I cannot express in words the immense gratitude that I have for this accomplished and socially just lawyer. Mr. Buckley is an ally; all actions benefited my professional life. Firm lawyers are generous with time; they listen thoroughly and respond quickly to questions and/or essential paperwork. I have the deepest respect and appreciation for how Buckley Bala Wilson Mew literally changed my professional and personal life. After mediation, professionally, I was able to continue my work knowing that fairness and equality were achieved. Personally, I was able to enjoy life unburdened by the emotional strain inequality can take on one’s psyche. I cant say enough positive things about Ed Buckley and his firm. He helped my husband when he was wrongfully terminated from his job and felt helpless to get a resolution. Ed took the time to understand the parameters and was able to get us the results we had hoped for. His attention to the details of the situation and knowledge of the laws cannot be under-rated. Not sure what we would have done without him. His staff kept us informed when Ed was busy with other clients. Even almost two years later when a new development came up regarding the case, he jumped in to help out and resolve the issue. Can I give them 10 stars?? Thank you Ed and team!
