My family and I was impacted by an 18wheeler. Having never been involved personally in this type of accident with a huge tractor trailer, my husband and I chose someone who we once believed was very professional, and had experience with trucking accidents. One call was definitely NOT all. My family and I did the work. I mean literally had to do everything ourselves to include initiating calls, doctors visits and follow up. To no avail I guess we were low on their totem pole. My husband had a referral to Montlick & Associates and decided enough was enough. After providing all paperwork Montlick & Associates got right on the job. Ms. N Nives, really took time to explain to us every step of the way where we were. She’s a valuable player on this team! Very professional, personable and responds to every email or telephone call made. I know that seems minor but it’s the little things that makes a big difference. Ms Nives kept me informed of every bill needed, pictures or whatever was lacking. But it was her sincere tone that said to me after I completed my final physical therapy treatments which was, “How are you feeling”? Sincerely that’s when I felt like I was connected with more than just a voice, but with someone who cared. I’m thankful for the entire team who worked endlessly during Covid19, whether it was working from home, or social distancing at work, Ericka, Yvoone and Krystal were very helpful in this process as well. They were aware we were selling our home and trying to determine where to send settlement check. With Covid19 we were unable to move in new home as planned and we couldn't pick up from the office. Everyone was so understanding and patient with me and the family. And for that I’m thankful. I will be sure to provide the highest recommendation to my family members and/or anyone in need. I was very satisfied with the way my case was handled. Michelle checked every aspect concerning my case. As soon as my Son called the firm, They came to meet with Me at the Rehab. They kept Me informed of everything that was going on with my case while I was in Rehab healing from my injuries. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Montlick & Associates if you're ever injured in an auto accident. In November 2017, I was in a bad rear-end collission going to a business appointment with a co-worker (who is also one of my dearest friends). We were stopped on Briarcliff Road in Atlanta waiting to make a left turn when a careless young teen was [guess what???] TEXTING while driving and she slammed right into us. The impact was so hard it nearly totalled the 2015 Toyota 4-runner we were riding in. Between the two of us there was a lot physical and emotional damage, requiring a lot of doctors visits and several years of physical therapy. Thankfully we are OK now. But going through it, the stress is not anything I would wish on ANYBODY! The team at Montlick and Associates, they were a real blessing to me and I can't thank them enough. When you factor in the emotional and financial toll that an accident takes, on top of all the medical treatments, physical therapy and trying to get fully back to work, it’s easy to see how I came to rely so heavily on them, and I am very grateful that they took care of what seemed like endless details, all the communications with the insurance companies, the back and forth negotiations, etc. When you are suffering and in pain, you need someone else to make sure everything is filed properly and that you get EVERYTHING that is owed to you. They took care of so many things I had no clue about prior to my case (like medpay, and collecting on uninsured motorist policies, and something else called diminished value claim which is completely separate from a property damage claim). The overall outcome was higher than I expected and I appreciated that the attorney and assistant were each very kind and always willing to answer my questions thoughtfully without making me feel stupid. Had I gone the DIY route, I am certain I would have ended up with a lot less money, a lot more mental anguish and more time spinning wheels. So I am very grateful and want to say well done and thank you Montlick and Associates from the bottom of my heart for all you did for me.
