Montlick and Associates saved my family and the 14 families my company employs. A MUST READ for those who like a real American COME BACK! My wife and I started a family Golf Cart Company in 2012. We grew from just her to 14 more people in just 6 short years. These 14 people also have families and children that depend on us to survive. We were increasing business year after year and we were on top of the world, doing custom work for NBC, The Golf Channel, The PGA Tour, and many celebrities. In fact, we had built a base of over 1,000 local customers over the years we were in business. BUT IT ALL CHANGED. One Sunday morning at 8 AM, we received a call. “Your place is on fire.” OMG! My wife and I raced to work and found our entire building engulfed in flames and 7 fire trucks with more than 50 firemen standing and watching. I raced towards the firemen yelling to put out the fire, but they told me that it was too dangerous and they estimated the fire was over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. He said that it was too far gone and they could just control the fire from this point. My wife and I held each other in tears and cried. We lost it all – our entire business . My wife and I, hand-in-hand, called the entire staff to come be with us that Sunday Morning. They all came, and we had one question. What were we to do? We had no idea, but we knew we had insurance. I called my agent and he said “I do not think you are covered for fire.” We were devastated. Prior to speaking to Montlick & Associates, we made a mistake and hired a local lawyer. We went to our local Bank and were unable to obtain a business loan, then went home and felt depleted like never before. Later, we met with the fire department to find out they found the cause. It was a hand-held tools charger, one that had been recalled for being defective! We went back through our security footage to find out we had it all on tape. It appeared the chargers malfunctioned and caused the fire! Over time, we managed to stabilize our business. However, there was still the issue of the insurance claim and the lawyer we hired. 60 days in, the lawyer did not appear to be getting anywhere with our case. Of course, by this time our case was handed off to the “new lawyer in the office” He said he was not familiar with my case yet but would look at it. After another month and nothing, they were not even answering my pleas. So, I called Montlick and Associates, a firm I heard from a friend that had an amazing team of lawyers. We could not have been more impressed. They have so many experienced lawyers. And such wonderful staff. IMPRESSED! Is all I can say. We went back and terminated my other attorney and we are so glad we did. Montlick & Associates helped me obtain the assistance I needed. Our new lawyer has amassed a large case against our insurance company, and even hired a Forensic accountant to prove our loss of business . Just recently was the one year anniversary of the fire, and soon, we will file suit against the insurance group for more than $500,000.
