Being injured is very hard and taxing on your body as well as being mentally Exhausting. Receiving a non favorable decision with SSD is even worse. Deciding to choose the Ginsburg Law firm was the BEST decision I ever made. I’ve been a nurse for 20 years. When health issues greatly hindered my employment, I searched Disability on YouTube. I found Jonathan’s videos, and watched them with my husband who is also a nurse. We discussed it for months, referencing what “Jonathan from YouTube,” said. When I applied for Social Security, and they started asking medical questions, I thought, I’m a nurse. I’ve got this. Why would I need an attorney?? I felt so prepared by my own experience and “Jonathan from YouTube,” that I was way overconfident. Shortly after, a slice of humble pie came in the form of a denial letter. Because of my work history, I had one appeal. And, other than real estate, we hadn’t hired an attorney before. So we got advice and everyone we spoke to said they did not win a disability case without an attorney. Then, we were displaced by a natural disaster. We were so overwhelmed by our loss and by our insurance agent’s behavior, that we had to start delegating issues quickly. We prayed for peace of mind and guidance to make the right decisions. And for the first time in our 20 year marriage - we hired attorneys. A fender bender got an attorney. Basic estate needs got an attorney. Our house disaster is still looking for an attorney. And I had to turn over the social security issue to someone quick. I called a couple of local attorneys. One aggressively wanted representation documents filled out that day. That kind of freaked me out a little. The other one sent a huge packet in the snail mail for me to fill out. I was too overwhelmed to manage it. On an impulse, I decided to call “Jonathan from YouTube,” expecting nothing except maybe an answering service. But a nice lady answered my call and took my info. She said the attorney would call me back. To my surprise, Jonathan personally called me that day! My husband said I looked a little star-struck at the time, ha! My job was to keep him informed and not miss doctor’s appointments. I’ll admit, being displaced made it all much harder. But I imagined someone with worse health problems trying to file an appeal alone. I also read an article about my specific health problem and how many people miss out on critical disability support due to self filing or inaccurate descriptions of their problem. It made me realize that Social Security speaks a language that even medical professionals can not speak. And it made me really glad I had representation. Jonathan and his team were quick to guide me in the right direction. His special client videos were super helpful. But, what I appreciated the most about Jonathan was how respectful he was. He never talked down to me and acknowledged my education and experience. He was never put off when I became tearful regarding my situation. And he treated me like a person would treat a friend. I, in turn, was cooperative, grateful, and did my best to do exactly what he told me to do. And I am happy to say our prayer was answered!! We made the BEST decision hiring Johnathan Ginsberg and THAT gave us peace of mind. And, as an unexpected cherry on top, I received a fully favorable approval by Social Security, just this week! After my injury,I thought the plant would do the right thing and have my shoulder repaired.However,it soon became apparent that workers comp was giving me the run around.Switching me from adjuster to adjuster, not helping me get an mri or even helping with Dr.'s appointments.
