Used Mr Aiken years ago and he did a great job. I am using him again in a false battery case. I have all faith in him he is very detailed. I am not afraid anymore.

Paul Kauffmann did a great job with getting my bankruptcy finalized. But the reason I gave a 2 star rating is I have been dealing with the creditors still reporting my accounts I included in bankruptcy as delinquent; which is a bankruptcy violation and the FCRA. I called Mr. Kauffman to ask these questions and he couldn't answer it. He stated that he will get back with me and he never did. Now I have to spend more money on a different bankruptcy attorney to solve this issue for me. I just think it is wrong to say hey I got your bankruptcy and money now the heck with you.

This man and his office did a wonderful job for me. Honest and kept me informed every step of the way . Reasonable and respectful of me and my situation .... I question any anonymous negative reviews -sounds like the losing side of his clients to me. Like my ex who lost against Mr Akin. Over the months I never saw anyone he represented displeased with the results . He gets good results. Maybe they just want to trash someone they lost to.... or someone they stiffed paying for his great representation .. He's good. Me and my friends recommend him highly .

Mr Akin went the extra mile on my case whenever my ex filed frivilous petitions - and we win at every level. Even worked with me on my fee and didn't charge for several hours. Experienced and accessible. Professional at every turn. Highly recommend !!

Paul Kauffmann is an excellent attorney! He completed my bankruptcy case and my credit score went up to 680 less than a month after. Now, my credit is back in great shape and I have 4 major credit cards post bankruptcy.

I found them (Attorney and Assistant) unresponsive unless a payment was due. There were several instances of extremely unprofessional behavior. The trauma of my divorce was made worse by having to deal with them. They added no value to the case. Would not recommend. Rather pay a few hundred dollars more.

10 years ago with my divorce I didn't know what he was doing all I know is I wanted a divorce .. I didnt know I had sole custody , I asked my ex husband to sign our daughters passport and he refused , mind you I only looked at my divorce papers this year because I needed the dates for my current husbands va comp.....Well with me getting sole custody of my child I didn't need my ex husband and , she is able to travel overseas,, (my parents live in Abu-dabi ) .. Mr. Akin told me years ago that my ex husband would not help me , he was so right he still don't help and has not even seen her , she is about to be 12.... I'm so thankful for this lawyer

He was very good at getting the ball rolling for my divorce / custody case. There were many complications with getting things started and I felt that he handled them very well. As things progressed and started to stagnate, I almost sensed a loss of enthusiasm for my case. Much of the lull was do to inaction on the part of my former spouse's lawyer. Even though this was the case, i felt like I was constantly being told to "wait a while to see what happens". In the end, my results were fair and the price was fair as well. Unless you are looking for a very aggressive attorney, I have no reason to not recommend Gerald Akin.

Gets down to business. Doesn't give the run around at all. Rates are better than most, and he gets the job done. His assistant is also very helpful and knowledgable.
