By far the worst lawyer I have ever encountered. Eric "represented" my girlfriend and I had a public defender defending me in a case against DFCS. After going court a couple of times we realized how incompetent Eric actually was and my girlfriend requested him not come to court the last time sooner then paying him a bunch more money for nothing. Eric came to court anyways and repeated what my public defender had said and wound up charging us over $2000 more. Eric Tatum is not only an incompetent lazy lawyer but is also a lying crook. I would not recommended anyone get him to represent them. You are better off defending yourself. And for the record the case was essentially lost in court but later dropped by DFCS due to to us standing our ground and not letting them walk all over us. It had absolutely nothing to do with anything Eric Tatum did. (Assuming he actually did anything besides show up in court a couple of times and charge us over $4000.
