I was in a very difficult situation with a child support case. I was catastrophically injured on a very hazardous job at one of the local production facilities in town. My income was cut by 50% due to being put on workers compensation and having the unlimited overtime evaporate after the injury. The Weaver Law Firm was the only local firm in town that would even allow me a free consultation on my case. They were the only firm that would even consider taking my case due to it being out of Fannin County and my ex having a local inside attorney up there. I thought that the quote was a bit high but considering that no other firm would even take the fight due to logistics. My attorney at the Weaver Law Firm was Mr. Dan Parr and his paralegal was Ms. Tammy Siler. They were always extremely helpful and kept me informed of every update and appointment related to the child support modification case. The Firm saved me from more legal complications because my ex would not accept any deviation from the original settlement. Mr. Parr fought for me in court and saved me from financial ruin because of my work related injury. He even worked with my injury attorney to make sure conflicts between the two cases did not interfere with each other. He truly saved me from bankruptcy and potential incarceration due to not being able to pay the previous settlement judgement. I would recommend the Weaver Law Firm to anyone with a domestic case. He helped me in more ways than I can explain. He helped me work around my many medical appointments and the possibility of not returning to full duty for years due to the catastrophic injury and multiple future surgeries. Again, I want to reiterate that he was the only local attorney who would go to the remote county to fight a local inside attorney. We prevailed and even took it back to court to get justice. This firm went beyond standard obligations and even spoke with my health providers to get a full understanding of my injuries and the time it would take to get back to full previous income. My experience with the Weaver Law Firm was very positive. We had kind of an urgent situation involving custody of my grandchildren and Dan Parr actually met with us on a Saturday to help us. We had a very pleasant experience with the attorney, Dan Parr, from the Weaver Law Firm. My case was a serious one (4 counts of felony charge) with potential life in prison even if one charge would hold. He definitely handled my case with honesty and integrity. During 5 days of trail, he hardly had any sleep. He made sure that all of our witnesses were going to be available during the trial. He prepared himself for next day's trial late night every day. He brought in the most influential witness based on his past experience. His closing argument was almost perfect. In the end, all 4 felony charges were dismissed. Words cannot truly truly express our gratefulness for having an amazing attorney such as Dan Parr. I would recommend him to anyone who would face a criminal charge.
