I wish there were more stars I could post honestly. Gina definitely fought hard for my case. She does value her clients and goes for what is right. She knows her stuff! I am extremely pleased with her she is very knowledgeable and very good at what she does. Her staff is also excellent and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Bradley is an absolute pleasure. He brought me the best resolution as quickly as possible. He understands people are human and don't beat you down for any mistakes but instead believes in fighting for second chances. Thank you again for all you've done for not just me but my family.

Mr. Weidemann is a kind, thorough, and knowledgeable attorney. He will answer all your questions, explain things completely, and respond quickly when you reach out. He is also ethical, a trait which I came to highly appreciate, even after I no longer required his services. He always makes sure everything is fair and doesn't engage in anything underhanded. I have seen, in later years, that other attorneys who do this will also treat their own clients unfairly. I wholeheartedly recommend Bradley Weidemann to anyone in need of legal services.

Bradley Weidemann was my attorney for many years. I am so sad that he moved to Georgia. I understand we all change and grow. So I wish you much success on your new journey. Thank you for all the legal help. I am so grateful. If you ever decide to move back to North Carolina let me know. Good luck!!!

I retained Mrs. Smalley back in 2019 for my non contested divorce. I asked for advice on moving long distance before it was signed by the judge. After did end up moving away following what the order required of me. 7 months after my move my ex filed for full custody. I again retained Mrs. Smalley for this case. Before mediation I was every unsure how handle this case and called the office frequently and did get to talk to Marcy most times but when Mrs. Smalley was available I did get to ask her advice on how to handle situations. At mediation Mrs Smalley did a great job and when it was clear they wouldn’t compromise in anyway she told me she wasn’t going to recommend I agree to anything a judge wouldn't order. After no settlement was reached at mediation I didn’t hear from Mrs Smalley for 7 months until we got a court date. I sent screenshots for evidence and would rarely get a response. I’d call over time sensitive, important matters and didn’t hear back. I went through all this while pregnant and the stress from my high conflict case caused me to not only be high risk but also to give birth premature. Apparently some time after mediation Marcy and Mrs Smalley had parted ways. I saw a huge difference in her and the new staff’s services after this. Just before the court date mrs Smalley worked on a settlement with the opposing attorney and contacted me. Mrs Smalley wanted to get my approval the day before court was scheduled which I told her I couldn’t research or review anything until a certain time due to me driving long distance to get my child from visitation. Before that time they had canceled our court date. In reviewing the email I had asked for I realized multiple problems with the settlement and after feeling like I was being defeated and like Mrs Smalley’s office was not fighting for me any longer I almost agreed. But I decided not to give up. I explained why I couldn’t settle on certain things and how I felt Mrs Smalley’s office was no longer fighting for me Mrs Smalley told me she wasn’t a therapist but if we took it to court she would definitely fight for me and to take the weekend to think over what I wanted. That day she started the process to drop me as a client and I believe that conversation was why. But after we talked again she agreed to continue to represent me. I had paid her at least $2k from a bill and less than a week later while still trying to get me to settle the case I was told court would be expensive and I already had an outstanding balance and I owed about $4k. I was shocked and asked how but was told the bill would be coming out the next day so I waited. Some how they split my bill into two bills that period and I only got one that explained $120 of the charges. They took weeks to find the rest of the bill. I began to look closer at previous bills during this time and realized many times I was billed even when no one had responded to my calls/emails. I was never shown any proof that any prep work was done on my case and was involved very little in the process. While trying to dispute the charges and looking for a new attorney, Mrs Smalley emailed me explaining I had 24 hours to pay my balance and replenish my account or she would drop me as a client. I fired Mrs Smalley as I had been planning to do after the last few problems. When I continued to question the bill she charged me to review it and talk to me about the bill. I ended up hiring a different attorney and judge ordered more than the settlements Mrs Smalley presented me with. I have filed a dispute with the state bar since discussing the bill with Mrs Smalley resulted in being charged even more. Long story short Mrs Smalley didn’t make one of the hardest times of my life any easier. I would give zero stars if possible.

Hired Gina for custody modification but from the beginning she made false promises and mistakes . I felt misinformed and manipulated into a prolong court process which has financially devasted me and my young kids. My kids are still being abused but now we are even poorer than before thanks to Gina and her office. I am absolutely heartbroken and suffering but instead of admitting her defeat and faults she threatened me with a lawsuit and collections. Please choose someone else as your attorney so you don't suffer like us. Heartbroken mom.

They are the worst law firm in the state or possibly the country. Stay away at all costs. For 5 minute conversations they will charge for over a half hour. Very unprofessional. Then when you call them out they charge you for that again ripping you off for the time on the phone. Good luck if you take the risk but I told you so.

If I could give Gina Smalley no stars, I would have! No need to go into further details other than forewarning future clients. Do not hire her as a GAL. Children's future deserve better than Gina Smalley. Although she did not represent me directly, she was the GAL for my two step sons. She has failed them. No one asked her to take sides but to simply be the advocate to two young children. She is very unprofessional. She showed up late to the ONE time visit and did not do her due diligence as the GAL. She was more invested in going back and forth between the parties and relaying information to each side (mainly to one in particular) which caused further damage. She showed her favoritism from the start without much time to allow the evidence to shine the light on the truth. You can see her unprofessionalism simply by reading her responses to negative reviews. Why cast personal information on cases with her responses? Is that professional? I think not. I am highly disappointed and wish she would have acted accordingly and by the oath she took when becoming a GAL. Yes this case was over a year ago, is that relevant when the children are being hindered today due to it? The consequences and repercussions caused due to her is ongoing to this date.
