On July 15th, 2016 I was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident, where I shattered my left arm and was rushed into emergency surgery. After the surgery I was worried about the legal part of the accident now that the physical part was addressed. A friend referred me to Kim Ruder of Dermer Appel Ruder and from day 1... I was impressed and relieved. Kim advised me to worry about getting myself better and leave the legal stuff to her. I did!!! My case was handled and settled way BETTER than expected. Not wishing anything bad on me.. BUT if I ever get into another accident, the call after 911 will be to Kim!!!

Adam Appel is amazing (and nothing short of it). My brother got into an accident (not his fault) on August 13, 2018 and he was severely injured and taken to Grady Hospital. Mr. Appel came recommended by a family friend and from the moment he was contacted he was on the case and in constant communication with the family. Mr. Appel took steps above and beyond and even provided some services that were at no cost and it helped my mind rest easier as I was helping my brother heal, knowing that Adam was in control of the situation. We had a direct line of communication and he was available via phone call or text at any give point in time. Adam looked into every possible scenario, and challenged the insurance company when needed, he reached out to an attorney who had expertise in airbag litigation to see if we had a case, he reached out to another attorney and we had a conference call on a Sunday afternoon. Now, which attorney will take time out of their Sunday afternoon to talk to a client? Mr. Appel went above and beyond and utilized his resources to ensure that no stone was left unturned. He kept it 100% honest and real with the outcome; at first my brother was slated to get no monetary compensation from this accident as the other party had basic liability insurance which meant that the 3 people that were injured in the accident, someone wasn't going to get anything. With Adam’s prompt response and attention to the matter my brother was able to be compensated $25,000.00. This is a blessing in disguise because Grady hospital gave us a bill for almost $120,000 for a week's worth of stay and 1 foot surgery later. Adam made the suggestion to get financial assistance through Grady, in which he was approved for $54,000, PRAISE THE LORD, because who knew where this money was coming from as my brother didn't have any health insurance. Mr. Appel fought for Grady to reduce the remaining balance and that was also approved that they reduced their bill by 87% discount. When we started this journey, the entire scenario was not looking good from this accident and my brother ended up walking away with his life (first) and a small blessing to say the least. Adam, your honesty and patience was invaluable during this whole ordeal. Thank you so much for your hard work and diligence during this case.
