When it comes to a divorce attorney Patty is a force to be reckon with. From the first time we met I knew I had someone special. What I most loved about her is that she listened and made me feel like part of the team and not a client. Her smile will melt the room and her bite will let her opposition know they are in for the fight of their life. You want her on your side ! I was going through a five year divorce and Patty was my 3rd attorney. YES, 3rd!!! God had a plan and Patty was and important piece in that puzzle. I had a wife and an opposing attorney who was lying and fighting with every illegal tactic possible. Patty was referred to me by another attorney. That was the best advice I had received in 5 years. We had 1 week to prepare for our day in court. Patty worked day and night to include weekends. Yes I said weekends. She promised me victory and she delivered. I thought they were reasonable divorce attorneys for military retirees I referred my friend. The other attorney did him in. Shewmaker was not only unprepared they suck as an attorney. I would have not recommend them to anyone

Steve Shewmaker is an ineffective, arrogant, egotistical tool. Every conversation involves him a) dropping the same names, b) telling you about the same great things he has done in his career, c) mansplaining some aspect of the law, and d) MAYBE getting something effective done regarding your case (but more often not). All at his normal hourly rate of course. His communication skills are the worst. Ask his former employees how they liked working for him; that will tell you everything you need to know.
