I was working with Raymond Cho he did all the paperwork everything went through really quickly no complications he's also really cheap and really affordable compared to other attorneys that try to rip you off good guy to communicate with if you're filing for bankruptcy I say he's the one to go with it doesn't hurt to call and talk to him over the phone if you have any questions and keep in mind it's always good to have all your papers ready at the time of appointment to make the process go through faster thank you Raymond Chow for all your help I can't believe this got taken care of within two months I'm really happy with the outcome now I can take my dog for her operation I'm so happy she's going to be okay and thank you for your concern

If you are looking for a great bankruptcy firm with very affordable rate, this is the firm to call. I worked directly with my attorney and he always either personally answered his phone or called me right back. Highly recommend. Best of the best!!!

Ed makes you feel like you have no idea what is going on. Says one thing then does another. Plus he will tell you to F off if he feels he cannot get more money from you. Worst experience ever! Now we have to find another Lawyer. Thanks Ed! You should not practice law! No care for your clients!

Ed worked with me to submit all documents in a well organized and timely manner. The process was straight forward and painless. My case ran into some trouble but he reassured me that he would fight hard to present supporting documents and win the case, and he did. I'm so relieved and highly recommend him. He is no frills and has lots of personality but it doesn't matter to me. He did a great job. Thank you Ed.

I wouldn't recommend him...if you're looking for a pleasant and professional experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. My husband and I went to his "office" for an initial consultation and were shocked by what we saw. It was a dirty, messy bachelor pad. Clothes were strewn about, there were dirty dishes on the counter and it was totally creepy walking into this situation when we fully expected an attorney's office. This was the first indication that something wasn't right. Our experience in dealing with this attorney was not pleasant. He was quick to take our money and put his interests before ours. His advice to us was based on how it best benefited HIM financially. Bankruptcy is a difficult subject and we were distraught following the foreclosure of our home as a result of my husband's illness. We had hoped to find an understanding, patient advocate who would patiently answer all of our questions, but instead ran into someone who is short tempered, rude, and generally unprofessional. He did not answer questions that he knew would make us think twice about filing-which is unethical, and was not forthcoming about the entire process. What was most shocking and what really upset us was how rude he was to us AFTER he took our money. It was almost as if now that he had us trapped, he didn't need to be polite anymore. Without going into further detail, because my husband and I would like to remain anonymous, I want to warn anyone who's reading this to think twice before retaining him. Yelp has already taken down my review twice because someone keeps flagging my comment. Where's the integrity if my honest review and attempts to protect you, the consumer, keep getting removed?

I am not sure the positive reviews are accurate or even made by real people. This lawyer does not have the best interest of his client in mind and actually is making our current situation even worse and more stressful that before we filed!!! It doesn't feel like he is supposed to be representing us as paying clients but it rather feels like he is leaning more towards getting more money out of us knowing that we are already in a desperate situation. We have since gotten other legal advice and the decisions this lawyer helped us come to in regards to what to file, doesn't even sound like what would be best for our situation. Please do not waste your time and money and get stuck with him. Keep looking.

My husband and I were so worried about who to see when filing for bankruptcy. We wanted to make sure the price was fair and we wanted someone honest. We had read some prior reviews on Mr. Magauran and I thought I'd just give him a call. He called me back first thing on a sat morning which was awesome as most places only do business during the week. He was really to the point and wasted no time. He made us feel comfortable and quoted us over the phone for what the total cost of everything would be. He moved super fast and took care of everything quickly and efficiently. He even got me back money from prior garnishments. I would see him again for this kind of business because he is great at it, but then again I never want to file bankruptcy ever again. He's honest and worth every penny!!! Very professional.

Filing for bankruptcy can be a frightening and difficult decision. Finding the right person to represent you will make the process that much easier. Edward was very clear about what needed to be prepared and what would be required to have a seamless filing, having me be over prepared and completely secure about the resolution. At my hearing, out of around 20 filers, only 2 people were completely discharged without having to submit additional paperwork and appear again, and both cases were handled by Edward Magauran. The best part was that he was completely accessible and very quick to respond to every question I had (which was a lot and often).

I normally go to Yelp for review on restaurants and find them very helpful in factual description, especially those with pictures. Recently I have been using Yelp for professional services. After I read the review on Edward Magauran , I feel compelled to also share my experiences on Yelp, so a more balanced picture can be presented. I'm a physician working with families that are struggling in life, many of them financially. Thought the years I have referred people to Mr Magauran for legal help. The feedback I received from my patients have always been positive. A grandmother who had to file bankruptcy because of her grandson's problem told me that Mr. Magauran not only charged her much less than other attorneys, but also comforted her not to feel ashamed going through the process . Another person , after reviewing his situation,was told by Mr Magauran that there were ways that he could get out of the hole without filing bankruptcy , and all these consultations were done for free. I imaging even professional can have a stressful day and upset . As Yelp are widely viewed and rely on. I hope this can provide a different experience with Mr. Magauran , an experienced and very good bankruptcy attorney , and I'll continue to refer people who need help to him.
