I called the "top"5 attorneys listed on google and the only one that didn't immediately say " I can help you, send $$$$$$" was Ed. He actually ask me questions about my situation, making sure I wasn't rushing into something that would actually do further harm to my situation. On top of that we had several conversations just to make sure I was doing the right thing and he fully understood the situation. Most attorneys would have charged for anything past the first conversation. His understanding of the system and his compassion for his clients ( not just the check) is evident when you speak to him. Most important, at no time did he make me feel looked down upon or ashamed. While I hope not to see him in this capacity again, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing his type of service. I once thought bankruptcy was one of the scariest things a person can go through in their adult life. As scary as debt and bankruptcy are, fortunately there are hard working, compassionate attorneys like Mr. Edward Magauran out there who take pride in helping people like you and me. Where do I begin... I put off the inevitable for so long. I had MANY sleepless nights and now especially during this devastating economic climate it my financial distress had become suffocating.
