I had a unforseen probate on the Island of Hawaii that was triggered with a property sale. The title company had referred me to Ms. Bodey, we had a consultation and after that Ms. Bodey had agreed to represent me in closing out my mother's probate. We did all of this via email and phone conversations. I live on the mainland and the process went very smoothly. All my expectations were met. I hired Ivana to assist me in having my uncle's Canadian Will probated in Hawaii as he owned a vacation condo and a parcel of land. On very short notice, Ivana was able to have the Will probated in Hawaii which included filing an Application for Issuance of Acknowledgment of Authority and receiving an Acknowledgment of Authority as well as preparing Affidavits re: Sale of Real Property for the two real estate holdings, and dealing with Escrow regarding the sales. Ivana was able to assist me without actually meeting in person, which was ideal since I live in Canada. I was selling property on the Big Island owned by my grandparents who left the property to my mother, myself and 3 brothers. Due to legal issues with Escrow/Title we had to go to probate. The Title Co referred me to Ivana who was great to work with. After I explained my situation, she informed me of my legal options and we chose a strategy. I didn't need to speak to Ivana live many times as she was extremely professional, prepared, efficient and was always available to communicate with. After my dad passed away, then his wife, I went to HI, I'm from CA, to take care of some business and one of them was to consult with an Attorney.
