My husband and I did a complicated trust. We have a blended family with 7 kids. His kids, my kids and our kids. We were led through the process from start to finish creating our trust from scratch. Rhonda spent countless hours answering my emails and questions. Helping me to understand the process and what fit best for our ohana. I never felt rushed or pressured. This process can be difficult and time consuming. Mahalo for being patient and wonderful to work with. I'd highly recommend Rhonda she is incredibly knowledgeable and efficient.

It has been over 2 months and I still do not have my will. I called and was told... "don't call us... we'll call you". This will (trust) was already done and all I wanted was to change a couple of names. I've been to the office a couple of times and they are never open. Are they still in business? I am so sorry that I jumped the gun and felt as if I were being ignored. It turns out that even after seeing my first review Island Legal was completely professional and finished my will in record time. Trustworthy is not a word I use casually but it sure applies here.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the initial intake process at this firm. I called and explained my situation and scheduled an intake. I was told to look out for an email from another person — that email never arrived. I did not receive any calendar invitation. I was unclear how to move forward. In addition, I am in the midst of receiving cancer treatments and the process is mentally and physically exhausting. I did not receive a text, email, or call confirming the appointment. 15 minutes AFTER the scheduled time, I received a call to tell me that the paperwork was never completed. I happened to be on another call at the time, since the time was not confirmed in my schedule, & I explained this to Carly on the phone. Regardless, she pressed me to discuss details of my case. I told her that I wasn’t comfortable doing that at the moment, since another application was opened and a third party would be coming in the call momentarily. Our call disconnected, likely because too many apps were open on the phone. In the response below, it claims I was rude; however, I simply was not in a position at the moment to discuss personal details. I explained this Carly. Again, no return call, text, or even email to reschedule. I DID receive an immediate email from Carly explaining no one would be able to help — none of the attorneys would EVER have an opening. Bummer. If you schedule a consult, you should WRITE the information down and sure to show up with $600 in hand. If not, you’ll be blacklisted. And yes -- blacklisted effectively means no one, EVER will have room to reschedule. Despite the claims in response, I was NOT provided an opportuinty to schedule in December. Had that been the case, I wouldn't have any need to write an honest and contemporaneous review. That’s pretty harsh for anyone facing a custody claim. I wouldn’t want that type of iron fist with the highest stakes imaginable — your child. Good luck and strongly consider a more reasonable and friendly firm that has accurate facts that can be relayed directly to the potential client, not communicated via google review. On the other hand -- they respond to Google reviews, so now you know!

I needed blank forms of Power of Attorney and Medical POA. They promised to send me the forms by mail and also by email. I called almost daily bc I never even got the emails to 2 different addresses. Finally after 2 weeks of bugging them daily I got the forms via email. The blank form via mail never arrived. They would not let me go pick up bc they are short staffed and don’t allow walk-ins

Great service provided for my mother years ago. I continually support them because they are a needed service on Maui.
