I am so glad that I found this law firm to help me correctly navigate through the daunting and complex process of selling my mother's assets, prepaying for her funeral/burial costs, and applying for Medicaid to assist with the costs of a nursing home that she had to, unfortunately, be moved into. Attorney Faviola Ramirez and Medicaid Coordinator Bonnie Stinson handled my case and they were always very responsive, thorough, and explained every step of the process clearly. Mine was also a bit of a unique situation as my mother had lived in another state and I wanted to move her into a nursing home in IL to be closer to me, which meant applying for Medicaid in IL, but that could only be done once my mother was already living in IL. Because of the law firm's relationship they had with one of the nursing homes in IL, they even made arrangements for this nursing home to take my mother in temporarily before we could even apply for IL Medicaid. This was a huge help as I was not equipped nor was my home set up to accommodate my mother who was now wheelchair-bound. After that, we were able to apply for the Medicaid, got approved within 2 days, and I was able to move my mother into a nursing home of my choice. Even after all that, I have still been able to count on Faviola and Bonnie to assist me for several months with an erroneous bill I kept receiving for my mother's prescriptions from her stay at the first nursing home. They have never once told me that I needed to handle this myself and I have appreciated their ongoing support and assistance. I would highly recommend this law firm for anyone who needs help with making sure their loved one's finances are properly allocated and safeguarded.

This Law Office has been of tremendous help in my Mom's financial affairs as we had to transition her to a nursing facility, after months in rehab which did not help. Her house just closed this week and Jennifer Jones was a tremendous help with that aspect. Great Job! Closing was done remotely and I believe Zach Hasselbaum handled that for us. Bonnie Stinson and Pam Laird along with Zach Hesselbaum have also been working on the Medicaid application process, and so far so Good on that front.
