My husband had suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2011 and was hospitalized for several months. When he was finally released, what does he get for all his hard work? An ex-wife who refused to let their small kids spend time with their daddy. Time after time, excuse after excuse, lie after lie, the court gave ex-wife the benefit of the doubt over and over again. Motta and Motta stuck with it, and when it seemed it would never be over, the judge finally had enough and put ex-wife firmly in her place - just like Motta and Motta had told us he would! In the end the judge put the Order in place that Motta and Motta had drafted without any input from ex-wife! We are extremely happy with Motta and Motta's work in our case. Please, don't let your ex push you around! You have a right to see your kids and be in their lives. Please consider Motta and Motta.

Bob was very skilled at his job. He was well informed on the laws and how to handle the situation. He is very down to earth and does not talk to clients like they are below him, but treats us as equals.

Bob handled my divorce. He was very prompt, efficient and professional throughout the entire process. When I first scheduled a consultation I was able to meet with him same day. The petition was filed two days later, and the entire case lasted a little over a year. It was a pretty brutal divorce, but Bob helped me focus on the things that were important and made the process a lot less painful. If I had to do it again, there is no doubt I'd go with Bob.

Class X felony poss. with intent to distribute 18 kilos of cocain. I went with the lawyers all my boys were using who everybody knew about and he had my case to the point of trial & was pushing me to accept 12 years plea ... I was ready to give up & was gonna run to Mexico but then my friend who kept telling me about these lawyers pushed me to meet with the Motta lawyers and I hired them and they took the case even tho it had to go to trial like right away... Mr. Motta was extremely helpful in the review of a current case pending in Du Page county. He went over it with me with the care and precision of a quiet professional I know him to be. In the past, he has helped my family with everything, from purchasing a home, to personal injury, to the writing of wills and criminal matters that may occur in everyone's life. He will always be objective and work tirelessly to ensure that his clients are taken care of and their needs are met. He is extremely effective and very likeable and reliable. He will not call pointlessly to discuss your case. For some, not hearing from their attorney or their office is nerve wrecking, however, Mr. Motta will take time to bring up to speed what he has done for you when he has enough information to let you know important things related to your case. He will not charge you needlessly for these phone calls, or any other aspect of work done on your behalf, and his fee schedule is very fair. He is a very honorable man and his devotion to his clients needs are evident by the number of hours he spends in client meetings, negotiations, or on the road to lend assistance to those who need it most.

I thought I was completely screwed before I came to Motta & Motta. I got caught with drugs and thought I was for sure facing jail time. They committed themselves to my case and I knew they were always giving 100%. In the end the case was dismissed before trial. I would recommend anyone with any case to this firm. They are amazing!

I would (and do) recommend Motta & Motta to family and friends that need a lawyer. They're different than a lot of other divorce lawyers I've spoken with. Always empathetic, not pushy, and are very good in court.

Mr. Motta has been my primary family law attorney for the last four years. He and his office expertly guided me through the morass of divorce, visitation, and alimony issues. My ex-wife became very vindictive and litigious, and Bob not only effectively defended me against every baseless attack, but went on the offensive whenever necessary to protect my interests. He also took a personal interest in my case, and in doing so helped keep me sane throughout a long and drawn out process. I would highly recommended Bob in handling any type of conflict, as few attorneys I have encountered through the years have both the ability to negotiate AND to litigate. Bob certainly does, and is extremely skilled in each of these areas.

I'm pretty sure the prosecutor cried himself to sleep the day I was found NOT GUILTY. Bob is a bad a** trial lawyer. There were a couple times I thought he was gonna end up in the cell next to me for just being ruthless in the courtroom. Even if I lost id prolly still reccomend Bob cuz I don't know how anyone coulda put up more of a fight than he did. It wasn't cheap though but you can't put a price on freedom. I put 4 stars for kept me informed because was one time it took him a couple days to call back but it was around the same I saw him on the news for a big murdrr case in Omaha so that might of been why

Does not return phone calls. When you do talk to him he talks non-stop and in circles. After closing he refused to return calls or answer questions as why bills shown on HUD-1 to be paid had not been paid.
