Steve McCann is knowledgeable and responsive, and was very generous with his time and expertise even at the level of a free consult. Would happily work with him in the future.

Eric Diggs comes off as a empathetic and knowledgeable attorney where as in reality he seeks easy win cases and when it comes to doing attorney work and logistics he has dropped the ball several times. Eric had originally represented me in a child custody case until he decided to charge me $10k to show up in court in Dupage county for 2 court dates in which he did bare minimum. Mind you I already have a 60/40 split parenting schedule with my son. I would contact Eric throughout the week and he would take days and sometimes over a week to contact me back. When we did make contact with one another he never had my file in front of him, he would ask me questions that I had already given him answers and information to. He was highly unorganized and not empathetic at all. He treated me and my child case as if we were just a number. I’m my opinion Eric lacks the compassion and some of the baseline knowledge necessary to be a efficient attorney within the scope of civil litigations. Poor job and shame on you Eric for preying on me and my passion of being a concerned dad. Again he represented me 2 court dates I spent $10k and he dropped my case when it was time to do attorney work in my relocation/ custody battle. DO NOT RETAIN ERIC DIGGS he’s UNETHICAL!!!!

When I called and told him the amount I was getting sued for he laughed and said it wasn't worth it to get involved. If you don't want to take me as a client that is fine, but don't laugh at me....it obviously is alot of money to me if I am looking for legal aid.

The process of a legal battle regarding allocation of parental responsibilities can be emotionally, mentally, and financially taxing. Mr. Diggs worked diligently on my case and as a result, the stressors were minimized, and the outcome was more than fair. I had a great experience hiring Steve McCann to represent us. We had an ice dam and roof leak at our home in Chicago and our insurance company tried to only pay for about half the damages. After much frustration dealing w/ them, I engaged Steve. He was able to clearly articulate our rights, inform me of our insurance company's responsibilities, and lay out the possible path ahead. In the end, our insurance company paid out the full amount they owed us, and I learned a lot from Steve about the tactics employed by insurance companies. Highly recommended!

I was a previous client of Mr. Diggs with a somewhat complexed case, it seems he sided with the states attorney and I didn't need him for this case, because it was the same outcome without a lawyer, he did nothing. On top of that I've left several messages for him and he never returned any of my calls, and there was never any disrespect between us, he also had discussions with the complainant.

Mr Davis is a straight up Attorney. He gets right to the point, I highly recommend Mr Davis to anyone, reasonable. Very well respected attorney who looks at the problem in your Case and then discuss it with you.
