My name is "Darrion Curtis" and my attorney is Andrea Torgrimson and she has failed to give me a call back after 2 months of plenty of calls and being sent straight to the voicemail for the last 2 months with no feed back on my settlement case and we started my case 9 months ago. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS LAW FARM.

I would recommend steve martay to anyone that is looking for a great attorney to represent them for a work comp claim I didn't think I even had a case and steve took my case anyway he worked fast and turned my claim into a very nice settlement thank you steve

If I could give them a ¼ star rating I would. I randomly noticed my credit score dropped 70 points and I could not understand why, considering I hadn’t missed any payments, nor had I done anything to interrupt my credit standing. A week later I had a collections company call me a weeks after my case was finalized. The collections company said they were seeking payment from a medical bill pertaining to the case. I said all medical bills should have been paid through my lawyer Andrea Torgrimson with The Illinois Hammer Injury attorneys Dworkin & Maciariello. The collections company said they just talked to Andrea Torgrimson about collecting payment on a medical bill faxed over to them after the firm requested it. The collections company said Andrea Torgrimson referred them to me and said she talked to me about the collections company calling me (Not True) I never talked about an outstanding bill with her, in fact I asked after the check is made out will I have any other bills, and she said no they covered them all out of the settlement. I asked the collections company why is this the first time I am hearing about this bill and what is this bill for. That is when the collections person said they were in contact with Andrea Torgrimson about the medical bill and they could not talk to me. I asked was this filed in collections already and they said yes. That was when it clicked as to why my credit dropped. I said this does not make sense if they are calling me now after the bill has been filed to my credit report, yet I was never sent a bill nor warning. The collections person said they faxed the bill to the law firm and they admitted they got the fax but some how this medical bill fell from the fax machine, which is how they missed it during the bill pay process. I said now how is that my fault and what could I have done about this. First you never called nor sent notification to me personally and I cannot control the law firm’s practices on securing documents. I called the law firm to reach Andrea Torgrimson about the matter and my call was screened and never returned. I sent a text message stating the issue and to give them a chance to fix the issue. I have yet to received a response still.
