Too often people are victims of crimes, of frauds, of thefts, of predatory practices and organizations that benefit from the misfortune of others. When you feel you are being victimized, when all reasonable measures are exhausted and everything you try appears futile, call the office of the attorney general of IL, Lisa Madigan. They listen, they advise. In one case merely mentioning that you have contacted this office made a difference. Call them if you find a scam, unsavory practices, to learn what actions you should take, whether you should file a report. They will advocate for and help senior victims of abuse, neglect, financial exploitation. They advocate for women, offer services for victims of violent crimes. I have the utmost respect for this office and this attorney general.
