I was stressing looking for lawyers to handle my Armed Habitual Gun Charge when I stumbled upon by chance the C.T.A website. After an initial review of the website and how informative it was, I was able to establish an interview with David Smith. From the very first time I talked to David he gave me a sense of ease and how he handle as a person was fantastic. They were able to get my Case which is a class X(6-30 years) dropped down without having to spend anytime in the Penitentiary. An amazing job based on everything that was in front of us I must say. Chicago Trusted Attorneys did an amazing job on my case! I was facing a felony charge for an aggravated battery to a peace officer and the team was able to get it down to a misdemeanor. This saved my professional career, and this was possible due to David M. Smith's team. David and his team have a great relationship with the prosecutors at the Skokie, IL court house (location of my hearings) and not only that, they were very persistent on walking them through my mitigation package. Paul M. Burnson was instrumental in getting the prosecutor to review all the details of my mitigation package and was able to convince her that a felony conviction wasn't warranted based on my character. Isioma V. Ebiringah also helped represent me during some of the hearings and provided excellent direction for me on what was to come. Lastly, David M. Smith is not only an amazing lawyer, but he has strong character and he's great person and family man. He and his team treated me like family. He treated me with respect and took the time to get to know me. He genuinely cared about me and my mental health and talked me through every step of the court process.
