We had a real estate closing and live out of state. Many states outside Illinois do not require an attorney and frankly, I was annoyed that we had to use one. Then I spoke with Carol. She has a great communication style. Many attorneys give you the impression they are doing you a favor by working for you. Her approach is just the opposite. She is warm and engaging. Of course she had a very good understanding of the process and reviewed it with us in advance. And when the typical bumps in the selling process occurred, she handled them with calm and confidence, providing advice and guidance that was very common -sense in nature. And she is hard working. As we neared the end of the process, we had a past minute question and she called back at 8 PM that night to make sure she addressed our need. In short, we were glad Illinois has a mandate to have an attorney. Otherwise we'd have missed the opportunity to work with her.

Carol came highly recommended by a trusted friend and she exceeded our expectations. We were selling our condo from out of state and she took care of EVERYTHING! Carol went above and beyond and closed our sale within about 3 weeks. She is a joy to work with and would not hesitate to hire her again.

Carol is awesome! She came highly recommended by our realtor (who was equally awesome) and she did not disappoint. We never sold a house before and she walked us through all the legal steps. It was a very anxious time for us, but she reassured us and took the time to explain things until we understood. On our buy, she was just as diligent ensuring all the i's were dotted, and t's were crossed. We had a little snafu with the seller's attorney's not having everything all together at closing. I received Carol's name from a friend who is also an attorney. I called Carol and left a message hoping to be able to ask some questions and receive some guidance. I was thrilled at how quickly she responded to my call. She was patient in listening to my questions and was able to provide immediate and helpful feedback on next steps. Never did I feel rushed. Additionally, there was no talk of fee/billing for my initial consult. Unfortunately she does not practice in my county otherwise I would use her without hesitation.
