A couple of years ago, I found myself making the hard decision to go back to family court. It wasn't easy on me or my family and I had no idea where to find a "good" lawyer. Deanna came very highly recommended to me by life partner who had her as his lawyer in his divorce. He said that she was practical, and straight forward with no bullsh!t, so I made an appointment to see her with a free consultation. She was everything that he said. She told me thoughts in -a no nonsense manner and didn't sugar coat things. She let me know where the strengths were and where the weaknesses were. Then she told me about all the cost involved and gave me recommendations for other avenues to take to resolve the issues I had should I decide that court wasn't the right option after all. I ended up choosing Deanna to be my lawyer 6 months-a year later. She is extremely smart and very professional. Her staff is detailed driven but also warm and friendly when you come in the office. Even the Accounts Receivable personnel are kind and friendly, and very helpful and patient with questions about the bill. I can tell you with all sincerity that I never want to go back to family court again, but with that same sincerity I can tell you that if i ever have to, you can bet I'm going to have Deanna with me. There's no other lawyer I would trust to protect not only my interests but, more importantly, the interests of my children. No court case is ever fun or pretty. It gets real ugly real fast, however Deanna and her staff did everything they could to help me feel comfortable and explain everything I needed to know about exactly what step we were in during court for my child custody case. They respond faster then ever even on weekends. They make sure you know all your options and the truth about what they think a judge will say even if it isn't what you want to hear. Her office would try to get matters resolved out side of the court room and keep me updated on if they heard back from opposing console. Deanna brings a strong female presence to the court room and shows women can be strong and brilliant. If I ever need a lawyer again I will 100 percent be going back with Deanna and her staff, however I do hope to never see them again unless it is outside of the court room! Thanks for being honest and upfront about everything. I am very grateful with the way my court case turned out and while they don't count wins and loses in the court room I can say for a fact my case was a win for them and me!

I hired Deanna a few years ago for my divorce. Recently, my ex was harassing me so I called Deanna for some advice. I told her to bill me for my time, but she wouldn’t. Deanna doesn’t always tell me what I want to hear, but she tells me what I need to hear. Since, I’ve been divorced, I’ve met with her several times to help me with problems with my X. She’s always willing to help even though she’s not charging me. She’s always in my corner.

I can not recommend the Law office of Deanna Bowen enough! We received papers from my ex husband about a post decree issue...it was frankly ridiculous. But even knowing that we were still concerned and worried about the papers coming out of no where. We met with Deanna and she completely eased our fears within the first 10 min. After talking with her and through the whole process her and her entire staff were on top of everything! The communicated with me every step of the way. Everything was resolved in our favor and we felt so comfortable during the process knowing that we were in excellent hands the whole way. After my first attorney quit on me, I found Deanna's office and she got my divorce case settled pretty quickly unlike my prior attorney who dragged it out. Deanna has also been very patient and understanding of my financial situation and has worked with me on payments. Even though my case has been settled if I have questions I just email her office and she answers them for me. Overall, she is a great lawyer.
