For two years I went through hell and back with my son’s mother, fighting for my rights as a father. As soon as things went so far south they were unsalvageable, I reached out to Dave McDermott of McDermott Law Group here in Homewood, Il. Immediately, he put me at ease. Told me what my rights were, what I was entitled to and that himself and his firm were going to take care of me. Fast track two years later, almost to the day, we walked into court for our Trial(s) and we not only won and got everything I wanted, I even got more. To say I’m happy with the McDermott Law Group would be an understatement. I am now able to enjoy my father son time with my beautiful 4yr old boy, more than his mother EVER allowed me to. Not only are you a client to the firm, but you walk in and they greet you and treat you like family. The whole firm has you covered in everything and anything you need. McDermott law group worked very hard for us for the last 2 years. We have a messy custody case that was just won. Would highly recommend this group, especially Dave. Dave was exceptional in court. It seemed like this was his own personal case—that’s how much detail was presented. Will be referring all of my family and friends to him.

Please do not do any business with this cocky, smug and inefficient law firm. They are among the worst in the business. Do not hire them unless you have money and time to waste. You hire one attorney, but an attorney you have never met and knows nothing about the case steps up and gets you a continuance. Their retainer is excessively high! I retained them for 6 months and never got my day in court. They helped the Respondent on my case more than they helped me. Very unprofessional, the receptionist is rude and has no customer service skills. I had to hire another attorney just to see any results in my case. I was treated horribly and can't caution you enough to take your business elsewhere!
