Steve represented me in my divorce. My ex-husband is a lawyer and was trying to dominate me and tell me what I was entitled to. At first, I believed him, but then after talking to Steve, I realized that my ex was just trying to take advantage of me. Steve helped guide me through the situation and when all was done, I received all that I was entitled to including primary residence of my children, child support and guideline maintenance.

Steve Brody is the most unprofessional and disrespectful Lawyer I have ever met! Since I hired him, he's quit on me 2 times and I finally replaced him with a Professional Lawyer! The second time in the court house yelling "I Quit, I'm Done" to my wife's lawyer and then proceeded to yell at me like a child! He was yelling at me so loud that a McHenry County Sheriff Bailiff had to tell Brody to keep it down! In 5 months he has done nothing but continuances and I have gotten nothing for the $5,600.00 that he had billed me! As a Service Disabled Veteran I deserve better and just common courtesy but Steve Brody does not know what that is! If I could give him and his firm Negative 5 stars I would!! I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy, that's how bad he treated me! Read the the reviews on Yelp!! First of all the never begged you for anything and the 1 star reviews are self explanatory! How dare you say I abused my wife and stalked my children, never happened! You're a weak little man with Napoleon Complex, that lies, cheats and steals! Beware of this so called Lawyer, he will take your money and accuse you of not getting any results! This is how he treats all of his clients, to include Service Disabled Veterans! My new Attorney got me visitation of my children in just 3 weeks of hiring him and his firm! In addition got a (GAL) Guardian ad Litem, which is very difficult to get in McHenry County!

Steve was hired onto my case a couple of months after my initial involvement in the child welfare system... my only regret was waiting the month or two to bring him on to my case. Although he was hired to represent me, he worked hand-in-hand with my husband's legal counsel; never losing sight of the ultimate goal of family reunification. Our case was messy, but Steve guided us every step of the way. Would never consider using anybody else in the juvenile/ family system. He's an absolute gem!

Very disappointed in his representation for my son and his custody dispute, very disappointed in his performance. Maybe he did a good job for some but not for us we feel we just gave away thousands of dollars

A con man who will lose your case. And bleed you dry as best he can. Told me to come into his office multiple times on the weekend to pay him. He would be in his pajamas. He charged me 400$ to pay him 3000$. He did this multiple times. Trash lawyer. Con man. Stay away. Get a better lawyer.

In December of 2021 I required Steven's assistance with a simple QUILDRO. He quoted me $500 . I wrote a check for $1000 as I wanted to use his services for a possible modification for a divorce decree. He began the process and handed it off to Anna. I suppose she is a legal aide. I initially received updates, court dates and case numbers, along with receipts. That's when they disappeared. Ignored emails and either blew my phone calls off or ignored them. Several conversations with Anna resulted in her telling me she'd check with Steven and get back to me. Still waiting. I initially cut them slack because of lock downs. After that blew over I again began reaching out to no avail. I've heard it said "if you can't be trusted with the small things. how can I trust you with the big ones ". I've never called with rudeness or anger and have always been respectful. Not sure why they chose to treat me in this manner. Kevin Moore

Disregard any negative reviews. Those people are probably very difficult to work with. Worth every penny. I initially hired Tim Brander to work with an order of protection I had filed against me. My particular situation was incredibly confusing and had many pieces at work. I was so impressed by Tim's clear confidence and knowledge that i decided to hired Tim and Steve to handle my juvenile case. A year long battle it turned out to be. Over time my case was soon handle through Steve mostly. I hope I never will need them again, but if I do, the Brody Brandner firm are my lifetime attorneys. Steve's experience was obvious and he's like a wizard! I followed his exact instructions and I came out victorious. If you do what Steve or Tim tells you to do, i'm very confident to say that you will also win your case. They will put up one hell of a fight for you. I was told that Julia Pucci was a very good attorney. Very soon I found out how good she was, when opposing counsel bombarded me with incorrect allegations, stating laws that had nothing to do with my divorce case. Julia "neutralized' them swiftly, by correcting the misinterpreted facts. Stacey Rhody, also a great Attorney, joint later in and we finalized the divorce to my satisfaction. The whole Team at Pucci Law are very professional, approachable and great to communicate with. I highly recommend them
