I hired Angela after firing my first lawyer. I found her via internet, and I was skeptical. She has too many positive reviews. I thought it had to be fake. All the other lawyers I googled did not. One mistake I felt I made was my prior attorney was in a different county. I have learned that you want one that is familiar with your county. Angela only works will county which impressed me versus many other lawyers who will go anywhere to make money. Angela's firm gave me a free consult so I decided to give her a try. My first lawyer tried to "fluffy" up my case and suggest he could do things to work in my favor. Angela listened to my case and did not feed me any fluff. 100% straight forward. She was very familiar with my Judge and she had done many trials with him. After spending 45 minutes with her, I knew she was the one. She never once made one mistake with my case. She can think on her feet like no one I have ever seen before in my life. I got to witness a conversation with her and the opposing counsel. She amazed me how she handled him. Long story short, I would of never got the deal I got without her. She knows how to handle lawyers and judges. Her pricing is no less then 5x less then my prior lawyer. I truly feel she undercharged me which I don't think anyone has ever said of a law firm. She made my deal happen without trial also, which I was for sure destined for with my prior lawyer. Great negotiator. She did exactly what I asked of her. So, I was reluctant to believe all the positive reviews but they are true. Thank you Angela, I can finally sleep!

Mrs. Melton and her team always made me feel at ease with their kindness and how patient they were. Amy is very personable which made it so much easier for me to speak with her without feeling like, I was going to be judged, but yet she always had a professional demeanor about her too. My case was a long and drawn-out case due to my daughter's father being difficult to deal with! However, She always kept her composure and kept me up to date with all I needed to know with my child custody case. She was clear and honest with me at all times about the cost or things that I needed to know. I was very happy with the outcome of my case and I would definitely recommend her!

I turned to Mrs. Melton's Law office during a tumultuous time in my life. In this case not sure what happened. I know the attorney seemed a bit frustrated with the judge. The judge did not let her client speak, but let the defendant who came without representation ramble on and on. It was like the attorney and the client were not even in the room. Nice job judge. You just destroyed a little girls heart. She sobbed uncontrollably when her daddy had to tell her she could not remain at her current school because the judge would not give him residential custody. Parents have shared custody, so was not an issue of custody. She begged her daddy to please get full custody because she did not want to live with her moms boyfriend who is a convicted felon. And she just does not like him. She would rather live with her dad full time. But her dad said that given that the judge did not even ask a GAL to look into the case, his chances of getting full custody were slim. Even if mom is living with a convicted felon. Very sad. One of those situations you go 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
