One start for lack of integrity. Alexander Taylor is the type of Lawyer where you’ll need a another lawyer to Make sure what he’s telling you is true. He’s no longer with the company I’ve been told and of course the company is unwilling to address what he told me. Speaking with the team I am appalled at how they speak to you like you’re not intelligent enough to know even the basics of credit reporting. Then they act oblivious to the fact that 35% of your credit score is based off of payment history, so if I was reported late and lost points due to an incorrect reporting, no fault of my own, then it would only make sense that the points lost be restored. It’s not my job to figure out how! That’s for the credit bureau to figure out. I lost 34 points off my credit score due to an incorrect late payment reporting. Before settling the case I specifically asked Alexander would my points be restored, it was very important that I gain back the points that I’d work so hard to gain. Alexander tells me that the points will be restored once the late payment is removed which the credit bureau agreed to do. He tells me if it isn’t removed to contact them. Sure enough, late payment removed yet I never received my points back. Spoke with Atlas after over 9 months of trying to get someone on the phone and was told “yeah, sorry, nothing we can do about that” I would have never settled this case and put 10k in their pocket if I were not going to gain my points back. Never! And Alex knew that, and I believe that’s why he lied to me. If someone places a collection on your account and you lose, let’s say, 10 points and it turns out you don’t owe the collector and they notify the bureaus to remove the collection, guess what? Those 10 points are placed back along with the removal of the collection. The bank and the credit bureau was wrong in placing a late payment on my credit when I was never late. They owned up to their error however the penalty of being late, was being flagged for a late and having points lost which was never restored. Fight for your points people! Let the bureaus figure it out. They hold us to this ridiculous FICO points system, no way they should be able to take them for their error and not restore when they have made everything about the points.
