Tamara Meister was an amazing lawyer for my divorce. It was her patience, kindness and excellent knowledge of the law that made this process easy. She gave me good advice and I followed it exactly. That was the best decision I could have made. She knew what I needed before I even did. That was comforting in an uncomfortable situation.

I can’t tell you how great everyone was! I was referred to Susan by a close friend. I received an appointment promptly, and to be honest was a mess the day I met with her! She immediately calmed my nerves, explaining to me that what I was going through was not as uncommon as you think! She took my case immediately. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to handle everything! She and her exceptional paralegal, Denise, answered all my questions, no matter how ridiculous they were or when I gmailed them! And every visit I made to there office, I was greeted with a smile and asking me by name, how I was doing! When it came time to go to court, Susan was so prepared it was unbelievable! I came out of this whole ordeal with what I felt I had to have plus more. Susan was fantastic, and Denise was also! I would recommend this firm to anyone, anytime. God bless them all

I highly recommend Susan Butler and her firm for any family-related legal issues. I have known Ms. Butler for more than 20 years, and she has assisted me and my family in numerous legal matters, from preparing Wills to real estate and other issues. She shows the utmost respect to her clients, and has the utmost respect for the law and the legal system. She is a Christian woman whose values are reflected in her work and she always maintains a professional demeanor.

I strongly caution anyone considering working with Susan Butler’s office. I turned to her firm to handle a routine legal issue. Ms Butler convinced me that her path was the way to go offering no options. I had my concerns with her approach. I shared my concerns with family and friends who also expressed concerns. I ignored all of this and was convinced by Ms Butler to continue with her approach. Once Ms Butler’s plan resulted in a less than desirable outcome, Ms Butler stopped responding to me. I’m now faced with even more long-term issues then when I first contacted Ms Butler. As I’ve been working through the new issues, I’ve also discovered there were options available to me regarding my original case. Ms Butler’s office also struggled to provide accurate legal advice while failing to educate me on the legal process and what I should expect. I was surprised and very alarmed after receiving mail from a third party related to my case. It took me a considerable amount of time to get a response from Ms Butler’s office, the eventual casual response was yep we know about that. Would it be too much trouble to have warned me? This lack of attention added stress to an already stressful situation. I felt ignored by Ms Bulter as most of my interaction was with her admin who struggled to provide answers to basic questions. At one point the admin began “phoning a friend” to provide me with legal advice. Not the level of service I expected. From inaccurate legal advice to Ms Butler’s admin struggling to attach a doc to an email so that a deadline could be met, my experience was the opposite of the expertise and client attention advertised by Ms Butler in person and online. I am of course responsible for these outcomes. I’m embarrassed for ignoring my gut, family and friends while placing so much trust in Ms Butler. Hopefully my story will help others avoid my experience. However, I’ve not been completely ignored. Months after Ms Butler’s office stopped responding to me, I received an additional invoice. You can imagine my reaction.

I cannot say enough about Tami Meister, not only did she provide great and professional legal advice anytime I called or emailed ( which was a lot), she also had a way of reassuring me everytime I felt like I was fighting an uphill battle. She knows her stuff and is not afraid to let her clients know when they're in the wrong. I have the upmost respect for her and this whole group. I would recommend them to anyone, especially those dealing with a difficult divorce and custody battle! I cannot thank Tami enough! I knew I was in good hands the moment I met her!
