Estate planning is difficult because it requires asking and making some difficult decisions with your loved ones about your future care and legacy. Getting this done was probably one of the hardest and most important things we could have done with my parents - who were of course skeptical about estate planning. So we researched and talked to friends about their own experiences. We went with River Valley and don't regret it. Amina's structure was more modern and accessible than we saw with other practices. I was quickly impressed with her and her team's attention to detail, knowledge, and gentle way of wading through some of the complex or sensitive aspects of my family's estate. I could call or email and get a response quickly. We contracted for the 'full package' including durable power of attorneys, health care power of attorney, trust, will, etc. Amina's experience and work quality shown throughout the process - clearly a 'do it right the first time' place. Plus it was cost effective considering what was involved. In the end we received original, digital, and access to cloud backup copies of everything. Fully recommend River Valley for estate planning.

Mr. Heap came to us highly recommended, and for good reason. Our son was the Respondent in a Title IX case at Northwestern University. These types of cases are handled entirely by and within universities, are completely separate from the criminal justice system, and severely restrict the involvement of attorneys. As such, Mr. Heap served in the capacity of an advisor. His experience with this type of case proved invaluable. Mr. Heap was able to interpret the procedure and documentation from the university, and was also able to anticipate and foresee the possible outcomes in the case. Forced to remain behind the scenes, Mr. Heap ultimately coached our son to present himself in the most competent, assertive, humble, and gracious manner possible. Again, because university Title IX cases "fly under the radar" of the criminal justice system, they can be extremely intimidating for the accused. Fortunately, Mr. Heap proved to be a most erudite companion in our quest for a fair trial; and, in the end, a fair trial was indeed rendered.

Robert Heap is a very intelligent well verse attorney in the Naperville IL area. He has a great track record. He assisted me in court in DuPage County and walked me through the process like a pro. If your in need of an attorney do yourself a favor and hire this guy!

We spent the last year with Bob Heap seeking his advice and counsel regarding some very difficult issues. Bob represented my son in court and allowed him to get the best deal possible. Bob's kindness and honesty in the process was such a blessing to us.
