I have had the privilege of working with Michael for the past 11 years. Going through family court is stressful for so many reasons. The unknown factors, the costs, the delays, etc! Working with Michael was a great experience because he helped me understand the process, was patient and timely in answering any/all my concerns. My biggest factor in determining who would represent me was making sure I wasn’t just another client. I wanted someone that showed empathy and cared. He did all of that. If I had to do it all over again, I would use him again to represent me! Some of the advantages he brings is: he knows the process very well, has a great network to research any issues in a case, and is a strong advocate for his clients. I just wanted to say thank you for all the help over the years.

I worked with Theresa Beran Kulat and the Trinity Family Law team to complete my divorce in less than one year. I had hope to use the Collaborative process but, in the end, followed a non-adversarial, uncontested approach. Theresa clearly explained what a judge would allow in the asset division and where there was room to negotiate. I appreciated her approach in being honest in presenting the facts and data but negotiated hard for the best settlement. When obstacles were encountered Theresa presented me with different approaches to deal with the barrier. What initially sold me on Theresa was the upfront time she spent explaining the process, even before I retained her. That was very helpful in my selection of an attorney versus other approaches, such as, litigation or DIY divorce. In my professional career I have work with many corporate attorneys and learned quickly divorce attorneys do not have the same sense of urgency and are extremely slow. Theresa and the TFL team did an extremely great job of keeping the case moving forward, following up on open items and keeping me updated along the way. Great! I would highly recommend Theresa and Trinity Family Law for a Collaborative or uncontested divorce.

Michael is the best family law attorney anyone could ask for. He took on my case which had been in court for years and while many other attorneys seem to drag things out, Michael really seemed to care about me and helping me get things settled and out of court. Great communicator, sharp, and caring: When I found Michael Biederstadt I was unhappy with the first attorney I hired in my divorce case. Michael clearly and thoroughly explained my options and possible outcomes and once I made a decision, strongly represented my interests. He later represented me again in a post decree matter. Michael communicated very well with opposing counsel and was consistently very timely in returning my calls and emails. I always felt like he truly cared about me and my children and would do whatever he could to represent our interests. Having to share so much personal information with someone is difficult but Michael made it easier because he is so genuinely caring. He is a decent, kind, and very sharp attorney. I highly recommend him!
