It is not often that you can refer to someone as an attorney and friend, Walt is both. At a time when your world has been turned upside down and you need someone looking out for your best interest's, it is reassuring to know that Walt has your back both personally and professionally. I cannot imagine having hired a more comprehensive, thorough, and professional attorney, who has earned the respect of both the Judiciary and the Bar. I give him my highest recommendation!

Class Act! Walter Jackowiec is a phenomenal lawyer. When I was introduced to him, he was courteous and supportive. He actively listened to the issues involved in my divorce. He was confident that he could win my case. Walt gave me hope, when I had none. He was extremely focused and knowledgeable. Walt explained the process and all of the protocols that had to be followed. He developed strategies for my defense. I had complete trust in him from day one! He is an experienced communicator. Walt was well prepared for my trial. His line of questioning was outstanding. I was very impressed with his eloquent performance. Walt won the trial hands down! My ex and his legal team scrambled try to gain some ground, but Walt defeated them with ease.

I have had the pleasure of having Attorney Biederstadt represent me in family court. As I went through and recycled stack upon stack of my divorce documents, knowing that was just a very small percentage of all the files and papers that went through the Court over the past five and half years for my case, I reflected on how LUCKY I was to have had Mr. Biederstadt represent me. I wish that such an experience with my divorce never happened, but as it did, I am extremely thankful that by sheer luck or divine intervention that Mr. Biederstadt took my case and saw it through. Not only the large volume of legal work Mr. Biederstadt did was remarkable, but he has also taken the blunt of all the vicious personal insults, shielding my children and I from the worst of the confrontations. He enabled us to walk away whole and start anew. I am, and always will be, ETERNALLY GRATEFUL that Mr. Biederstadt was my attorney.

I would highly recommend Theresa and her firm for mediation. Divorce is overwhelming both financially and emotionally and Theresa helped alleviate both. We had just signed with Theresa in Feb 2020 before Pandemic quarantine. She remained in communication with us via email and once quarantine was lifted, in Illinois at end of May, we met with Theresa in person. This was so helpful and needed in our process. We continued to meet from June through October with much success. We turned our work with her over to our attorneys. Yet, in February we needed to continue discussions and Theresa was available and ever helpful again. She has a wonderful way of listening to both sides, creating a safe space for all and presenting many options. She helped support us to maintain a healthy communication relationship that will continue to guide us with our young adult children and moving forward. All you have to do is meet with Theresa and you will know she is the right person to support you through a challenging and difficult life transition.

Me. Biederstadt helped me tremendously with my custody case. He was very honest, and did everything he could to keep my expenses down. He was very quick to respond to calls and or emails. Divorce is awful even when it is the best for everyone involved. Theresa made the process as smooth as possible. She was always supportive, knowledgeable, and did all she could to keep the process moving. We proceeded with the collaborative process. At times the process felt very uncollaborative, though Theresa kept the process moving and continually reiterated the premise of the model when things veered. She kept disputes calm and on point. I did several consultations with other lawyers and selected Theresa after our consult when it was clear her practice matches the philosophy she presents on her website. I am grateful to have had her both lead but also walk beside me during such a difficult journey. I would highly recommend.

After seeing and hearing about friends go through horrible, costly and dragged out divorces.
